Service after the sale --> a new concept for these guys. You would think they'd be concerned about people's safety, particularly when they demonstrate gross negligence by violating building codes during installation, putting the customers at risk. Don't forget to check out their 'F' rating from the BBB.

Update: After all most a year, they finally "got my part" in. That was about 4 months ago. They never called to install it. I unfortunately dropped the ball for small court. Stay away from them. I found a reputable fireplace business that will be fixing my insert. Total nightmare. They were super friendly initially. Once they completed the job and there were issues to be addressed, they have been impossible to communicate with. They damaged the cord to the blower and 9 months later they are still "waiting" for the replacement they ordered. The insert smokes the house and the inside plates are totally loose. I will now be looking for an inspector, so I can get feedback on what needs to be fixed and taking them to court.

Horrible install on my wood stove. Cut the hole in my ceiling in the wrong spot. Wouldn't fix I had to. Chimney was crooked left nails all over my roof. It leaked water in my home I had to fix this as well. Broke blades on the blower which made noise, never replaced again I had to. Any good reviews are false or didn't have an install

BUYER BEWARE. DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE! Recommended by a close friend. (Friend/family discount cash deal) I should have researched more. Right from the beginning 8/2/22 neither owner knew what the other was doing which resulted in lies being told on delivery of the unit. Caught them in 3 lies. Upon pressing, the unit magically appears at 9 am while holding a substantial deposit. Scheduled installation was put off on my end for a week due to illness. Installation started 11/22/22, so minus a week for my delay, 3 months and 15 days I waited for Installation. Darren the owner installed with a nice guy named Joe who attempted to cleaned up afterwards properly . The same can not be said for Darren. The bedroom (where Darren did the majority of that part of the see through fireplace) was strewn with discarded wire coverings and dust. All documented with video. Being that most of the work was performed while I was at medical appointments, they left before I returned home. The bedroom brick work was terrible and at the end he had to come back and try to fix gaps in the stone that you could see the wall.A gap where the fireplace met the stone. Chipped and broken stones which he put very low as in attempt to hide them.. Upon complaining and asking to add additional stone, he returned and made an attempt to fix. Shoddy. I specifically asked to have the grout in the living room fireplace meet the ceiling which was not done. Again due to the fact I could not be there for final inspection, they were gone before I returned. I was told that only one laborer would be there for the punch list, but I got charged labor for 2 because 2 showed up for a total of2.75 hours documented on home surveillance. I did have extra stone put in,and fully understand that there would be an upcharge. I got a text from Rita stating it was an extra $600. At this point I requested an detailed itemized account of what I was paying for. Rita notified me she does not do that. Feeling I was getting fleeced, I withheld final payment to which she sent me a picture of a piece of paper with a handwritten and scribbled itemized account. Looked like a 4 year old wrote it. I supplied the mantles and there was a $999 mantel work charge. A charge of $250 for a spray finish which was never applied, and being told N/C for mantle work. A $500 charge for a header, and numerous other discrepancies made it increasingly clear that this was not on the up and up. I had someone else come in and finish, and give me estimates on the deep scratches in my hardwood floors from rock being dragged. To top it off, Darren drove to my house and banged on my door and yelled and swore, in an apparent attempt to intimidate. All documented on video surveillance and cell phone. A 2 star is fair because the unit does heat properly. Other than that, BEWARE.

WNY Fireplace Outlet was fantastic when I needed someone to simply re attach my vent pipes after i removed my pellet stove during a remodel. The dealer i bought it from "they dont do service, trying calling this guy"; a local place "cant do any work for rhe next 4 months, too busy"; little further local " we dont work on brands we dont sell"; the other Harmon dealer " sure we can do it for $750, you are kind of out of our area"! I called WNYFO and they very graciously said they would be happy to come out, the $99 fee would include an hour of work. Since they were the only place willing to help i also had them do a cleaning and redo the door gasket, and it was all done for under $200. Oh, and since i said i could be flexible with a date, they actually got me in the day after i called because of a cancellation. This will be my go-to place from now on, couldnt be happier with their service, price, and that ever elusive CUSTOMER SERVICE that is lacking in so many places now a days.
