    We used DelightMore for a large baby shower in June 2025. I was familiar with Vonderhaar's Catering, which I had used many times in the last 30+ years. Vonderhaar's teamed up with Funky's to create DelightMore. It's a good blending. Our menu was the Italian lunch buffet for about 75 people. And, we had LOTS of leftovers afterwards to share among three households. The food was so good that I was receiving compliments all afternoon, with follow-up emails and text messages over the next few day. One guest said that he couldn't remember the last time he had such delicious Italian food; he went back for seconds, which he never does. I worked with Rachel to set up everything. It was all done electronically, mostly by email. It was simple and painless. She also answered all my questions thoroughly. The day of the shower, two members of the DelightMore team worked together efficiently to get everything set up at the venue for a 1:30 PM dine time. There was more than enough food. Everything was hot. And it was SO GOOD!!! Before the guys left the venue they explained how the "heaters" worked, where everything was located on the table (they left the labeled covers on the serving trays to keep things hot and fresh), and what to do after the event. Nothing needed to be returned to DelightMore, which simplified things for me. It's all disposable. (However, I'm a recycler, and I'm happy to say that everything, once cleaned and dried, was taken to Cincinnati Recycling and Reuse Hub. We were able to have a beautiful catering but still be environmentally responsible.) I have DelightMore updated in my home phone book for future catering needs. We will be using them again.

    The DelightMore team really lived up to their name- they are a delight to work with! They helped us plan out every detail of our wedding to ensure things went smoothly. They went out of their way to accommodate our schedules for tours of our venue and tastings, and made sure everything was perfect on our big day! Would highly recommend!

    The food itself was great — everything was fresh, flavorful, and our guests really enjoyed the meal. However, communication leading up to the event was challenging. It often took multiple follow-ups to get answers, and at times it felt like there wasn’t much responsiveness. On the day of, a few details were missing or different from what we had discussed — there was no butter for bread or lemon provided for water, only one salad dressing (without a choice), and the vegetable option was changed without notice. We verified before that the buffet would be labeled so we did not need to order printed menus, the evening of our wedding we realized that it in fact was not labeled. Overall, the quality of the food was excellent, but I wish the planning and communication process had been smoother.

    We always have a great experience with Delight More. They recently did an amazing job at two corporate events for one of our clients. Their ability to think ahead and offer creative ideas around the entire event makes them much more than a caterer!
