I recently completed a renovation of my fireplace to convert it from wood-burning to a sealed gas insert. I also re-faced the old brick surround with stacked stone. I received a few estimates/quotes for the job, and Alison, the owner of Truttmann Hearth Ware was the easy choice. She is an expert on Mendota gas inserts, which others were not so much. She came over to my home and gave me her recommendations based on years of experience. She has a great artistic eye! Communication with Alison throughout the process was outstanding. Her preferred installer, Jasper, did a magnificent job with the gas insert and the stacked stone. Oh, and her price estimate for the insert was the best I received. I highly recommend Truttmann Hearth Ware!!!

If your looking fireplace doors, hardware, or accessories this is the place to go. The store is worth the drive to get to with a well thought out store display set up. The owner is very nice to deal with. We walked out with a vintage creamery can to use, and display next to our fireplace.
