  Chris, the owner, was incredibly helpful and worked closely with me to find the perfect wood stove replacement for our home that fit our aesthetic and budget, providing all the details I needed to make an informed choice. He personally made sure the installation was completed to the highest standard, and even came by himself to ensure the unit was installed perfectly following a minor complication. I'm really pleased with the end result and would definitely recommend Chris and his team to anyone in the gorge looking for a new wood stove.

  After losing power twice this winter in our electrically heated home we decided to add a second heat source. We met with Chris (owner) from True Gorge Stoves & Spas in his shop to select a model suitable for our needs. Chris was informative and helpful in discussing our options. We settled on the Green Mountain 60 woodstove for its excellent rating and great looks. Chris made a visit to our home to help in selecting the best place to install our stove. He answered our questions and educated us on pros and cons with each location I asked about. We were able to select an install date (also without issue). Even when I had questions about what impact weather had on the process, I got clear info and confidence about their capabilities. When it came time to put the stove in, our installers (Jayce and Jovani) later showed up as scheduled. They were polite, quick, and also answered any questions I had during the process. They also gave care to limit the mess and cleaned up when leaving. We are extremely pleased with the whole process, start to finish with True Gorge Stoves and Spas. They offer good selection, helpful skilled staff and talented installers. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing the services they offer! Oh yeah as you can see....it looks great too!

  After shopping the Dalles and Portland for a wood insert someone mentioned true gorge stoves and spas what a great place to shop. Each person we dealt with gave above and beyond service, from the owner Chris, all the employees in the store and the installers Marco and Daniel . We just had a gorgeous insert installed today and we can’t wait to be able to try it out !! I give them a 5 star rating service was fantastic !

  We purchased a modern STUV 21-105 fireplace from True Gorge Stoves and Spas. They did the installation as well. I am happy with the process. The front office staff is knowledgeable and provided valuable materials that made it easier to finalize our decision. Chris visited us before the installation making the required measurements and making sure that the installation would not have problems. He also gave some ideas about finishing options, installers do not do any finishing work but could connect to other companies. The ordering process was smooth and a team installed the fireplace on the promised date. Two installers - Jayce and his helper were knowledgeable, professional, and friendly and did an excellent job - and this fireplace is not easy to install due to its size and weight. I hope that we truly enjoy our new toy during cold winter days. Based on my experience I would highly recommend True Gorge Stoves and Spas for installations and repairs.
