Chris is a miracle worker! We had our siding redone and wanted to go without shutters this time around. The problem was that we have one area with fieldstone and the stone was cut right to the edge of the shutters. Underneath was just a plywood box. Chris was able to cut out some of the stones and puzzle piece new ones to make it look seamless, like it had always been there! He was extremely careful with our landscaping and very prompt. He was here for two full days and worked hard the entire time. I highly recommend Chris and Top Hat.

Top Hat did a great job replacing the chimney brick. It took two days to complete. The crews arrived early, worked very professionally, cleaned the area after the first day. They also washed my roof when they completed the job and hauled the debris away.The crew was competent and professional. If I could, I would give them an eleven out of ten.

We had two pillars that were falling apart. Chris and his crew came in and replaced them with two beautiful pillars matching the house. Chris’s work is phenomenal, professional, and affordable. I highly recommend Top Hat Masonry.

Chris is a likable young man who is a pleasure to work with. He installed bluestone on our front porch. It looked looked great, but didn’t drain well, so after about two years the bluestone started to fall off the vertical surfaces. Chris was a bit late responding; he didn’t intend to be unresponsive, as do many trades are these days, but he got so busy that that was the net result. However, once Chris saw the problem, he came up with a clever solution to hang the vertical bluestone with strong metal brackets. In short, he did a great job and I doubt very much that the problem will recur. Strongly recommend Top Hat and Chris.
