Absolutely the best Generac dealer I have ever dealt with. Spoke with Jan after our generator failed on us. I was able to self troubleshootshoot it down to a bad circuit board in the transfer switch but that was as far as I could go. The generator was pretty much a paperweight at that point. Jan scheduled a tech to come out within a day. When he showed up, I took him to the switch and told him all that I had done and found. He tested everything on the spot and verified a bad circuit board was the culprit. He had one on the truck and swapped it out in about 15 mins and reset our generator, which is now working flawlessly again. The whole visit was completed in 45 minutes. Now here is the part that really earned my business. I work for the Government and was affected by the shutdown. Jan knew this and did everything in her power to keep stop this untimely disruption from having a severe impact on me and my family. They charged me a very fair price and allowed me to pay when I could. I have since settled up with them on the full bill but am so thankful for good supportive people and business like this in our community. Thank you Jan and thank you to Thumb Cooling & Heating… you have a customer for life!

Not offered ideas or pamphlets by salesman unless i asked. Salesmen also said they don't do wood stoves or furnaces, and suggested that baseboard heating would be a good idea. Good to know the 3rd house I buy won't be worked on by them either. Ha! Reply: I had my heart set on a propane furnace and a wood stove. But I guess there weren't any options for this old house. Please change your website tho its misleading and is why I called in first place cause it says you do wood too. Thanks.

Thumb Cooling & Heating is a wonderful HVAC company! Their customer service is personal and friendly, treating everyone with respect. Their sales team will educate you, not try to sell you. With scheduling options from next day to weeks out, their fleet of trucks will never reschedule on you. Be sure to check them out for all your furnace, AC or heat pump service and installs. They cover a big area of Michigan, not just the thumb region.
