  Amazing! Super honest, friendly and high quality work. We had one group come out and quote us for a 1000 bucks more for an unnecessary repair on our fireplace. These guys were friendly and accommodating to our schedule. Mike took the time to show us things and give us tips. These are the people to call!!

  Bought our second fireplace door from Darin because of our first experience. He beat our best price and installed it flawlessly so when we recently moved we went back to replace the extremely dated one the previous owners had. Measuring was simple and the door was shipped promptly. I said I’d install it to save a few bucks but when I did I found the door was built incorrectly. They immediately came out and checked the fit issue. It was determined the manufacturer built it to the wrong dimensions. Darin got a new door built ASAP and shipped. It was perfect and after fighting with the masonry fireplace I got it installed and it looks fantastic. Two words of advice. Do business with the store and pay them to install!

  This Is It House of Fire is a GREAT store for your Barbeque and Fireplace needs. Darin was very accommodating and had so much knowledge to share with my father and I. We purchased a top notch Napoleon Grill from him and have been highly satisfied with his customer service and the product. Knowing we can call him at the store to deal with any issues gives us great peace of mind.

  Stopped in to refill my propane. I had no idea they were there. All the places that I used to use, like Chet's that was in Berkley, have closed or moved. Nice guy and I believe his daughter based on our conversation. Where I will fill up from now on. Love the small business owner.

  We ordered a Regency Wood Burning insert for our Mid-Century home in Ann Arbor, MI. We chose the Regency because of its high ratings and clean, minimalist design. This Is It Shop was the only place that had the Regency in stock. I dealt with Darin, the owner, and he couldn't have been more helpful. He worked with me to customize the backplate so that the design integrated perfectly with our existing brick hearth. After the install there was a drafting issue that was causing some smoke to drift into the house. Darin was super responsive and came out immediately. He and the Regency rep worked for hours to identify and correct the problem. Everything's working perfectly, looking great and we couldn't be happier, or cozier.
