  Our technician, Tommy B, provided excellent and timely professional service. Tommy serviced our gas fireplace two weeks ago, which has not been serviced for at least five years. Needless to say, our fireplace was very filthy (and borderline unsafe), and after less than hour after he arrived, it was immaculate! We enjoy using our gas fireplace, and I highly recommend going with The Fireplace Doctor for servicing your needs. I had to wait for about a month before I was seen by one of their technicians, but it was worth the wait!

  I am so very grateful to The Fireplace Doctor for repairing my gas fireplace. Their customer service and level of communication was stellar all the way through, from the initial contact, scheduling, follow up and especially my technician, Derrick. Their prices seemed fair as well. For various reasons, this problem was a challenge to diagnose and also difficult to actually perform the repairs. Contributing factors were that it is an older model and was installed in a way that limited technician access. It took a few visits, but Derrick never gave up. In fact, another company had told me they couldn’t even do the repairs and would have trouble finding the right parts. They recommended I replace the whole thing, at great expense. Obviously, I wanted a second opinion. Enter Derrick, from the Fireplace Dr. He was educated, skilled, diligent and willing to go the extra mile to find the solution. He communicated with me excellently and also reached out to the manufacturer’s tech department to gain more insights. It turned out that there were a few parts that needed to be replaced, just from years of use, but we did it step by step, so we could keep the repair costs under control. I am immensely appreciative. Now the fireplace looks beautiful and works like new just in time for my family and I to enjoy it together through the holidays. I also hired Derrick to inspect, clean and do touch up paint for our wood burning stove and chimney downstairs. He did an equally outstanding job on that! I recommend this company highly!

  I had an amazing experience of customer service here. I came in inquiring about a part for an older gas fireplace. They did not have what I needed. Ms Nina far exceeded my customer service expectations. They did not have it on hand but she did locate someone who did very quickly. I may not have gotten what I needed for a particular job I was doing for work, but I DO know where I am going to go for my own home and future homes I may work on. I cannot thank you enough for the absolutely amazing job!!! I look forward to doing business with The Fireplace Doctor and Ms Nina and her crew. Incredibly impressive. Thank you again.

  Had the fireplace doctor remove an old stove pipe, replace it, and install a wood stove. Emil worked with me every step of the way and was incredibly knowledgeable about everything. Him and Derek did the install: left the house clean (the mess in the picture is from my renovation work NOT theirs), made sure the stove looked amazing, and worked fast, too. Also, they kept the job under the quoted amount. I couldn't be happier with how the stove works and looks. I highly recommend them and their work! Update: One year later and I am still very happy with the quality of the install. Special thanks for the recommendation to add a heating collar to the exhaust for easy starts!
