  We had a few quotes from local contractors on installing a deck and/or patio in our backyard, but none of the designs felt like exactly what we wanted. When Dave and Parker showed up to take a look, they immediately approached the project with an entirely different vision than anyone else had, incorporating natural elementals like boulders and blue stone into the design, and working with the terrain we'd been struggling with by creating a multi-tiered patio that embraced the hill rather than eliminated it. After some back-and-forth discussions trading ideas and and sizing out the different zones, we came to an agreement and got moving on the project immediately. Just a few days later, the entire crew rolled in and began demo, moving swiftly and efficiently. We expected demo to take a day or two, but the team had actually begun to install the new steps on the first day, and everything was moving along great. The entire project took less than a week to finish, and you can tell that the crew all knew what they were doing and worked well together. Many of them had been with the company for a long time, which was a positive indicator that they brought a specific talent to the jobsite, and that the business took good care of its employees. The team didn't just bring a solid set of skills and craftsmanship to the job, but also an eye of design and art. Each boulder was placed intentionally to fit the space and match the style, the curves of the patio were freestyled to match the flow of the space, and the stones in the walkway were chosen to fit inside each other and be the perfect distance away for a casual walking pace. They also incorporated a planter box with privacy bushes that we had installed a few years before, when other quotes had suggested ripping them all out. Even though he runs the company, Dave wasn't afraid to hop in an excavator to help out the crew, and they all operated as a well-oiled machine. If you want to create an outdoor living space that exceeds the standard brick rectangle that your neighbors all put in, for a comparable price, don't hesitate to reach out to the Deck and Patio Company. We were willing to sacrifice a few square feet of patio space in order to create something extremely unique and imaginative. You will be left with an entertaining space that people will fawn over, and once they settle down, never want to leave. The skill, materials and design are all of the utmost quality, and you'll be very happy that you took the chance to install something with such character and quality.

  I can’t say anything bad about my experience with Deck and Patio!! We had a very long and hard project. They truly are a full service landscape/design firm. Dave made this project as painless as possible. So glad I met him. He took care of everything from start to finish and made all of my dreams come true.   Working with Dave and his team was nothing less than exceptional. From start to finish Dave was there helping us make our vision a reality. His crew always showed up on time and he kept his promise when I was in a panic not knowing if it would be done before a party we were having.
