  As new owners of the home, we were sure the fireplace hadn't seen action in years, much less didn't even think it was usable. Alden arrived promptly at the scheduled time and within minutes was dropping knowledge about our gas fireplace, the model, and the company who made it. He gave us the utmost confidence as he went to work. Within 2 hours we had a brand new looking, vent-free, gas fireplace up and running. It looked fantastic. Even if we would have needed to replace it, we'd have used Steve the Fireplace Guy (i.e., Alden). They know what they're doing and take pride in the craftsmanship of their work. From scheduling the call with Sierra to having Alden fix up everything right, they are our go-to team.

  Pride in your work - Integrity in delivering what you promise - Treating the customer as you would like to be treated. That's how I'd summarize our experience with Steve the Fireplace Guy. Steve and his team replaced our tired old gas log fireplace with a new, beautiful, full-enclosure gas fireplace. From the beginning of the project until the end, Steve and his team were friendly, courteous, prompt to reply, and genuinely took pride in their work. Steve made sure that at the end of the project, he was there to ensure that the inspection passed without any issues. He also made sure that we, as the customers, had an opportunity to ask any questions we had about the operation of the fireplace insert. Steve and his team also refreshed our 20+ year old gas lantern in the front yard, replacing the old mantle system with a beautiful gas flame and refinishing it from top to bottom. We could not recommend Steve the Fireplace Guy more highly. You will not regret selecting Steve over the competition.

  Steve the Fireplace Guy should be renamed to Steve the Fireplace God. In a property I recently purchased, I have three gas fireplaces and five gas lamps which were all non operational. The property is 30 years old and had never had any maintenance done to these gas appliances. Steve and his amazing crew disassembled everything and tuned it all up, and now everything looks and operates as new. Steve is a master of his craft and is an authentic and genuine person who truly wants to do a good job and what is best for the customer. I will never use anybody else to service my gas fireplaces or outdoor gas lamps! His wife and business partner Laura was so professional and a pleasure to interact with, she scheduled and followed up with me meticulously and is obviously a very nice person. I strongly recommend this company for anybody who wants great value and excellent customer service.

  Steve and his team installed a heat and glo insert into our stone fireplace. His work was meticulous. It took a lot of effort to get the insert to be flush due to the stone work around our fireplace. He worked diligently until it was perfect. His wife worked hard to get us onto his tremendously busy schedule. He was worth the wait. If you want beautiful and accurate work Steve is the one to call.

  I was referred by my previous homeowners. I called and left a message, no reply. A week later I went to their website and left an inquiry, no reply. This week I texted, and still no reply. Very unreliable. Especially disappointing since I reached out as a referral.
