  We had a 100% great experience in both the sale , and the installation of our new Empire Super Birch burner and logset. The pricing was competitive and the installation schedule was very reasonable especially considering the holidays. Andrew arrived on time- actually called ahead as he was running a little early- very knowledgeable,and professional, and the installation was a breeze - in fact we received a lower final balance because he was able to save our existing hookup. The final result exceeded our expectations! We love the idea of the company servicing what they sell and giving us honest input and comparisons; not just marketing the most features and tech. We also loved their commitment to the community- a 10% discount for providing canned goods to go toward their local foodbank. We are thoroughly enjoying our purchase ! I would recommend Specialty Gas House to anyone wanting a quality product and installation experience!

  This is one of the few stores that we could look at actual sets of gas logs working. Aaron helped us select a set that met our needs. We purchased in late November and the set was installed in early December. The installer, Jason, was very thorough in explaining how our unit worked. He removed the unit we had, made sure the space was clean and carefully attached the new unit. I was impressed that he kept the entire area clean while he worked. It was a good experience and nice to know they are available for follow up if needed.

  After 30 years of wanting a fireplace, we finally got it done. Initial installation was done by another contractor, and Specialty came out to add a glass cover After measuring, it was suggested that all we really wanted was a hood and raising up the gas log fireplace with firebrick, at about half the cost. They came out to measure, came back two weeks later to install, and suggested additional lava rocks ($20) . We asked about remote control, and Andrew went through the options and reasons for each. He went through the installation and fixed several concerns that he found, and made sure we understood the operations of the fireplace and remote, as well as future maintenance. Great job of professionalism and customer service at a reasonable price. Sort of a Christmas miracle these days. .

  We just had our fireplace installed by Specialty Gas House. And I couldn’t be happier with our new fireplace. It is so clean and convenient and the push of a remote is so worth the gas fireplace. You appreciate that when you get older. It is so nice and warm and pretty to look at in my living room. Also note the company hires the nicest most trusting people to come into your home. Everything done is of the best quality. The owner Rob is super nice and personable. Stephen did the install and he knew exactly what he was doing from start to finish. So very happy with everything.

  Andrew provided professional service and detailed instructions for the ventless gas insert. Even took extra effort to fit the new faceplate to a fireplace that lacked 90 degree angles! Highly recommend!
