  We bought a house 10 years ago that had a gas fire place. Three weeks ago the firebox insert broke apart and fell on the gas logs while the fireplace was on. We needed a replacement. We contacted Southern Hearth and Grills. Emily T, the manager, worked with us to get a new insert and helped us find a general contractor who removed the old insert. The result was outstanding. Even better, the project came out on time and on cost. When the cold weather hit, our house was very warm. Southern Hearth and Grills stands by their work and their product.   Since I live over an hour away from the store, I called and spoke with Maggie and gave her the dimensions of my masonry fireplace to fit it for a wood stove. She was amazing. We emailed she gave me options. After deciding the stove I wanted, we discussed price. A month later I emailed her again and told her I was ready to put the deposit down and have it installed. It was seamless. The easiest purchase and installation ever. There were no hidden fees ,no additional prices ,the gentleman who came out for the installation were beyond wonderful. They explained everything to me and they listen to my questions and concerns, and after everything was done, the area was cleaned up. The best purchase I’ve made is to have an aspen C3 Vermont castings woodstove. This is truly a company that cares about their customers.

  We moved into a house that hadn’t had a working gas fireplace for a long time ...the fire wouldn’t start at all. We brought the unit to Southern Hearth and, honestly, we were impressed. They really know their stuff. They identified the problem almost immediately and found that our system was clogged. Maggie will forget more about fireplaces than I'd ever be able to learn lol. They have a great selection for new units as well. We’ll be coming back here for anything fireplace-related in the future. Highly recommend.

  Very helpful determining replacement for failed gas log assembly. Tips for installation assisted in requirements to insure gas logs are properly safely installed. Products are quality and mostly American made.

  Went in expecting green eggs and Webers. Walked in and I was blown away! By all the wood fired vintage style stoves. Brick pizza ovens. Even small inside ones. As well as USA made Primo Grills. But my favorite part was the fact that they source local artisan items like sips seasonings and sauces that pair well with the culture of quality hospitality via beautiful and unique hearths and grills.
