Devonn was great to work with and provided exceptional customer service. I first made an appointment with Southern Fireplaces to look at my existing setup for both my living room / master see-thru gas setup and my external covered patio gas fireplace. Neither was in working order and I wanted them inspected and to share/exchange ideas of options and if they could be converted to wood burning. After Devonn arrived for our appointment, it was quickly determined that neither could be converted to wood burning, which I was expecting, but always nice to have a courteous professional, such as Devonn, provide his assessment. He was able to setup the outdoor to strong working order, but the inside was going to be more complicated, as the previous owners had shut down the see-thru option and placed a small insert into just the living room side and it was in bad shape. Worked with Devonn on options to gut out the entire mess and install a new see-thru option. We selected a nice see-thru log option and Devonn and his associate knocked out the entire removal and install in a few hours. They even hauled away the old mess. Super pleased with the new look and return of the see-thru view. Highly recommend Devonn and his team to evaluate your fireplace needs and gain understanding into options that will exceed your expectations.

Southern Fireplaces did a great job with our new fireplace insert. We have a 110 year old home with shallow coal burning fireplaces. Melanie and Devon did a great job showing us several options that would keep the character of our old home, but would make these fireplaces functional. Great communication and did everything they promised. Very pleased and highly recommend!!
