Great install experience from the first contact to inquire about getting an insert to the actual final install. Thanks Casey for putting up with me and my questions. My installer Cameron was awesome, knowledgeable and a real pro. Very happy with my new Heat&Glo Escape insert and glad I chose Chimney Chap for the purchase and install.

I couldn't be happier with the service The Chimney Chap provides. They are professional, responsive, reasonably priced and their service staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The same fellow has serviced my 25+ gas fireplace several times, and he's always upfront about expectations. I will always recommend The Chimney Chap!

Chimney Chap is outstanding. Their team of professionals helped me turn a problem into an opportunity. First, Jimmy came out for a chimney sweep and identified that the chimney had no liner since it is so old. A different company did sweeps before and didn't identify this problem. Jimmy was honest about the fire risk and pointed me to Casey to help with options. The chimney was too narrow to install a liner, but Casey helped identify a wood stove insert solution. The stove we wanted was too large for our fireplace, and Chimney Chap was honest that they couldn't do this type of fireplace extension. So they worked with me and a contractor to identify the specifications of a fireplace buildout. They also identified that the top of the chimney was old and crumbling. Scott (the owner) came out with a team to rebuild the chimney and verify that the liner for the stove would fit down the chimney. After that, Chris worked with me to schedule the stove install and get the permit for the work from the town. Finally, Cameron led the stove install, which was completed in half a day. Cameron personally worked with my contractor to make sure the fireplace buildout was to the correct dimensions so the stove install would be smooth and successful, which it was. Chimney Chap's team is professional, respectful, and patient. The craftsmanship of their work is excellent.
