The technician texted me when he'd be here, and he was very professional. My igniter for my gas log fireplace wasn't working, and he located the problem and fixed it in only five minutes after he cleaned the fireplace out thoroughly. He even swept up after he was done. I was very pleased and impressed and I will definitely use Smoky Mountain Fireplace in the future if there are any more problems.

I was told over & over again starting 2 1/2 weeks before unit was to be installed, that it would definitely arrive in time for installation. We drove 5 1/2 hours to be there for installation. On day of installation, they were a no show & no call. When they were more than an hour late, I called them to ask when they were coming and only then was I informed that unit did not arrive. ( I ordered the unit a month before it was needed). They did not afford us the courtesy of a phone call. They just left us hanging. I cancelled order and called my credit card company to begin refund process for the $1,500.00 required deposit. Two days after we returned home, we were contacted by Smoky Mountain Fireplace asking us if we still wanted fireplace as it had arrived. I told them no. In my opinion, they were unprofessional and I would definitely not recommend Smoky Mountain Fireplace to anyone who might ask my opinion about this company.
