  We just had our fireplace completely rebuilt by Sierra Fireplaces in Carson City, and the entire experience from start to finish was exceptional. We received estimates from four other companies before making a decision, and Sierra not only came in at a very fair and competitive price, but their professionalism and reputation stood out immediately. From the initial estimate process, their rep was knowledgeable, transparent, and truly took the time to understand what we wanted — no pressure, no upselling, just honest expertise. Customer support was excellent as well — fast communication, clear scheduling, and genuine care for the project. When it came to installation, the install team was phenomenal — punctual, respectful of the home, extremely detail-oriented, and clearly took pride in their craftsmanship. They transformed our fireplace perfectly and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Sierra Fireplaces delivered top-tier service, craftsmanship, and value. We are thrilled with the end result and so glad we chose them over the other bids. We highly recommend Sierra Fireplaces

  VERY disappointed with the purchase of a $6,000 pellet stove from Sierra Hearth. From the sales rep that made promises, to the customer service department who does not return calls or emails and the installation team that did sloppy installation on my home. Even the owner Larry could care less about my concerns and his cocky response to my valid concerns. They do not care about the customers’ concerns or believe in customer service in any department to my surprise. I would NEVER do business with this dishonest and disrespectful of my personal property. Sold on Quadrafire Trekker cast iron pellet stover with Wi-Fi remote. The sales rep walked me through the product, and I suggested placement. Took measurements inside and outside. Inside vent would go high as possible to ceiling leaving enough space that venting outside would be secured under deck without heat rising to deck floor. Sales rep and invoice never attached a diagram of installation. During the sales rep pre installation visit I noted details of what to expect. To my surprise when installation was complete, I told the installation team that was not correct and a very sloppy job. The installer said you do not need to vent under deck which was not the response I expected. They tracked dirt all over my freshly cleaned carpet last month, made black marks on carpet, scratched floor and made dent in $6,000 wood floor refinished last month along with scratches on $3,000 imported front door. Downstairs black wall marks, pencil marks on wall where they planned to cut hole then used another spot, used gold screws versus black inside that stick out on black faceplate, no caulking outside around vent to keep water or snow from going inside, could see outside through vent inside, painted vent and left sticker which started peeling first day to reveal white background. They did not even have the audacity to tell me. Then I asked how I set up Wi-Fi and he said you do not get it. Then showed me how to set it up, laid the thermostat on ground, and left. As discussed with the sales rep, it was imperative to have Wi-Fi on how product was going to be used. Want the pellet stove to go on at 5 am until 8 am then again at 3 pm until 9 pm. Also wanted to have the ability to control on vacation so when I return, I can turn the pellet stove on in advance of arrival. Radiant floor heating takes two days to warm home. Called numerous times while the installation team was here and emailed. What upsets me about the service is they had time to call the installation team as they walked out of the home. BUT NOT TIME TO FOLLOW UP WITH CUSTOMER. Even emailed Larry the owner and he did not have time to follow up with me. I had to drive to Carson City from reno 3 days later to get Larry’s attention. The first thing out of his mouth after I mentioned my concerns was that I was a “LAIR” and could care less about my concerns or how sloppy installation was completed. NOT at all happy with the Sierra Hearth pellet stove product returned.

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an excellent experience with Sierra Hearth in Carson City, NV! Tobia, the installer, was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He took the time to ensure everything was done perfectly and answered all my questions. Larry, the owner, was also very helpful and responsive throughout the process, making sure I was completely satisfied. The installation was seamless, and the team paid great attention to detail. I highly recommend Sierra Hearth for anyone looking for top-quality fireplace installation. Truly a five-star company!

  We purchased two fireplaces this year from Sierra Hearth & Home, one wood stove and one pellet stove for our remodel. Initially, Moses and Noelle were accessible and helpful. We were put on the schedule. They began the installation but couldn't finish because our hearth wasn't yet complete. Once it was complete we were put back on the schedule a month later. When they returned, they placed both stoves on the hearths and then left. According to our contractor, they said they needed to get more pipe and would return. They never returned. We called (endlessly) and asked for them to return our calls just to understand what the issue was. When we finally got them back out, (a month later) they were able to finish the wood burning stove install including a directional wind cap for our northern nevada windstorms, but they told us that they couldn't do the fireplace chase cap. This would have been nice to know prior to their third trip out. They also couldn't install the pellet stove because they didn't have the right pipe. They said they'd be back on Friday, and that was over a month ago, and we never heard from them again (even after us leaving several messages). They literally "ghosted" us. Fast forward to today: we had some wind last night (normal wind for our area) and this morning we discovered that our chimney directional cap that they had installed had blown off and landed on one of our solar panels. Lucky for Sierra Hearth & Home, our solar panel was not cracked. Side note: We have had a directional cap on our previous fireplace chimney and it held up to fierce windstorms in the past 10 years! We have never had an issue until now. I would never recommend this company to anyone ever. I don't like to leave negative reviews but this experience had to be shared. We are beyond disappointed. We've included the photo of the chimney with no chase and the directional cap resting approximately 10 feet from the chimney, on a solar panel.

  On August 21,2025, we had two roof attic fans installed by three installers from Sierra Hearth & Home. Joshua, Dustin and Dustin. They were clean, gentlemen, skilled and efficient.
