  Shorts were phenomenal. They were the best contractor I ever worked with, the showroom is excellent, very knowledgeable and excellent people to do buisness with. Both installers were very attentive to detail and did an excellent job. The owners were very nice to talk to. I would highly recommend Shorts

  Devon did an outstanding job! I called and spoke to a very nice woman who scheduled a cleaning for our propane fireplace insert. Devon was friendly, professional, and polite! He was extremely knowledgeable and clearly knows this field. Our young kids were very interested and nosey, which Devon fully appreciated. Devon did a detailed job and was thorough. Thank you greatly!!!

  First of all, our visit to their showroom was excellent. This business knows their way around wood stoves, etc. Ken (one of the owners) was excellent at explaining what kind of stove would fit our needs best based on quality and style. We had our stove installed roughly a month later. Unfortunately our experience with the install did not go as smoothly as the initial visit. The workers who showed up to do the job were asked if we needed to do anything before they got started. We were told no. They got right to work while we went outside to work in our yard. We came in 2 hours later agast to find black soot in the air and our furniture uncovered. My wife immediately covered the furniture and initially was very upset. The workers apologized for the mess saying they should have told us to cover the furniture and that they had a little trouble with the removal of the baffolds they had to cut out. They finished the job and did a great job at explaining the operation features of the Lopi wood stove. I contacted Ken by email and advised him of our displeasure. It was obvious that our white furniture needed to be cleaned from the mess. Whether or not Shorts Stove was going to cover the cost or not, we needed to have it done. Ken accepted responsibility and was very courteous, apologetic and sympathetic to the matter. This was VERY important to us as we chose this business over their reputation as well as my family’s 40 year history in purchasing through them. Story has happy ending. Wife is happy about furniture and we are ready for another cold winter thanks to Shorts Stoves.

  Short’s stoves is great. Their schedule is organized. They came when they said they would. They did a great job the first time and didn’t have to come back to fix anything up. They cleaned up afterwards and didn’t leave a mess. They even accommodated small in process changes.
