Harry & Rose Harshberger We spoke with Shaffer Bottled gas company and mentioned that we have a smell of propane. The smell has been happening for quite a few months, but the man who fills the tank said, it happens. My son and I have mentioned it again, but after filling the tank, there was still a slight smell. This time, Roxanne, who is fantastic with her job, immediately send PHIL out to our house. Thank you Roxanne! He did a pressure test on the tank and it was fine. He then did the soapy water test and found that one fitting was leaking pretty good. He did an EXCELLENT JOB AT TIGHTENING THE FITTING UNTIL THE SMELL WAS GONE. He went out of his way to make things right. PHIL WAS THE NICEST PERSON THAT WE HAVE DEALT WITH IN A LONG TIME. We would like the company to know, THEY HAVE A WONDERFUL CONSCIENTIOUS WORKER IN PHIL. He takes pride in his work and finds the problem and provides the solution. We would recommend PHIL for doing an A-1 job. Thank you Roxanne, Phil and Shaffer Bottled Gas.

SBG is always friendly and quick to answer any questions I have. I am always happy to receive an annual 20 lb. tank exchange from them with their coupon. We get propane delivered for our gas fireplaces and have our fireplace cleaned annually by their service technicians.

They are absolutely awesome. Tim from the company came to give me a price to replace a heater and smelled fumes. I called my provider of propane and told them about the fumes. They were ultimately a fail in response and thankfully I stopped them from filling my tank in this very cold weather. Shaffers team found a leak, fixed it, replaced a heater in the family room and I’m so grateful for their service. Tim and team thank you so very much!!!
