  We have been using our stove for a couple months now and we love it! Eric came to the house to perform an estimate and give his reccomendation. He stayed quite a while and educated me on what stove would be good and options on where to place it. Eric, also being the installer, I felt really confident. He didn't try to upsale and reccomended the smallest Lopi stove, and boy are we glad! This stove works excellent!! We also went with Schaefers because we live on the coast and the two other local outlets were not very responsive and didn't provide any education on what and why to get a particular stove. Very happy with our stove and Schaefers!

  I went into Schaefers looking for a new stove for our home. They offered to come out for free to look at our home and what we had currently. They spent a good amount of time with us, listening to what we wanted and then talking over all of the options. We were able to ask every question we had and received a lot of good information we had not thought about. I appreciated their honest advice and feedback. We didn't end up going with what we were originally thinking, but we are so happy with the direction we went. The entire staff was friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. They were clean and efficient during the installation of the stove and the finished product looks amazing. The stove meets all of our needs and we have had a lot of comments on it from family and friends. The products they sell are really well made and we loved that they were manufactured in the pacific northwest. They also have a USPS post office in the store. Friendly staff, clean, and rarely a wait. We will be lifetime customers. Thank you guys!

  I’ve been using Schaefers for Spa chemicals and at-home servicing and maintenance for about two years. As I have now learned how to dose my spa myself, I’ve stopped in home servicing but continued purchasing chemicals from them, until now. My last bill I paid in cash and didn’t ask for a receipt as I figured it would be recorded on my account. Jessica claims this was an unpaid $100 and continued to badger me about this to the point where I gave up and they were wasting my time with this amount “owed”. I gave her my card and asked what she was running the card for as I didn’t trust her at this point, she tried overcharging me $160 until I had to restate to her that she had been asking for $100. I will no longer be shopping here due to Jessica’s poor accounting. I have been waiting several months for this error to be corrected!

  We bought and had a Lopi gas stove installed through Schaefers as our main source of heat. Eric walked us through what he recommended (we were leaning wood stove), and we are fortunate we went with a gas stove for ease and efficiency. We had it installed as soon as he got the unit from the WA manufacturer (American made local stove, heck yeah!), including recommending and coordinating a plumber to install the gas line. Love our stove, and recommend this company for your stove needs!
