    We had an amazing experience with the technician, Mike. He came and installed a new valve on our fireplace and explained things to us, with timely, clean, and very pleasant! Could not have been more pleased! Pat, who scheduled the visit was also amazing. I had a small window of time to work with, and she made sure we got it done!

    DO NOT BUY a HOT TUB from Rich's. Terrible customer service and support for warranty issue on Coast Spa hot tub purchased from Rich's. Their service department is not helpful and very difficult to contact by phone, they want everything through email. Hot tub pump went out 1 year after purchase. I let service know I believed it was the pump. Rich's finally sent their technician out 4 weeks later and he determined it was the pump, he did not have a replacement. Another 4 weeks go by and Rich's finally receives new pump from manufacture and schedules a subcontractor to come install. When installing the contractor noticed they sent the incorrect pump, intakes were wrong size. Contractor determined he could take cover of old pump and exchange on new pump. We decided to do that as no one was available at Rich's service to provide solution. Contractor installed the new pump and it seemed to work. Contractor left and later that day I realized the pump was wired incorrectly, high speed was low and low speed was high. I contact Contractor and he felt it was wired correctly. Would need to check with his boss to see if he could come Monday to look at, it was Friday. I told him that wouldn't work as I would be unavailable. Saturday morning I removed the pump myself and checked wiring and sure enough it was backwards. I also noticed the pump was not screwed down to mount so had to fix that. There seemed to be no consideration form Rich's on the time it took to fix. I was only able to talk with Ryan the service contact once on the phone and this is because I called sales and asked to speak to the manager, who was not there and then Ryan called me back. On that call Ryan told me he was waiting on tracking number of pump and would schedule to have installed the day after pump was received. Ryan contacted me and said that pump would be in the next day and they would ship it to me Entiat, WA and once received they would schedule contractor to install. I let him know that is not what he previously told me on the phone. I told him the tub needed to be fixed this week as temperature is dropping in our location. I offered to pick up the pump on my way home from work that day and take east when I drive over that evening, which I did. The contractor showed up on Friday. Point being if I wasn't proactive in this whole process the tub would still probably not be fixed. They lost a customer and many more for a $400 pump!

    I was having trouble with one of my gas fireplaces that we had purchased from Riches. Pat, patiently talked me through changing the batteries in the fireplace unit. I so appreciate her patience and follow up.

    The service department is always on top of taking care of my parts and answering all the questions I have. They are super knowledgeable and I've had the pleasure of meeting an awesome technician who helped me learn more about my hot tub. Parts I've needed are always in stock and I love how they continue to teach me about how to take better care of my hot tub and the parts as well! Great people!
