  Shout out to Phelps and Sons as they sold me a Quadrafire 1200! 20 years ago and been buying pellets and having service my stove is second to none. I recently had my chimney replaced and found that my pellet stove had rocks drop in and around my pellet stove and called the chimney company who said they experienced pellet stove people come out and found they were clueless and had to come out a second time and while they sat there the stove was making a terrible noise they were googling and telling me that stove should be replaced as I had to tell where the problem was as they did not get all the rocks out of the back of the pellet stove and I had to show them how to get there and would not disconnect the stove from the Flue so they did the best they can. End result was the stove did not work and was constantly shutting down. I called Phelp and sons and explained this to them and they sent Jake over and and he disconnected the stove and pulled it for inspection and spent 3 hours cleaning and found the back blower motor was completely clog with rocks and soot and tried to fix and tested and ended up replacing it and now my pellet stove is working like it’s brand new and I am the happiest customer and will not let anyone touch unless it Phelps and Sons as they are the true professionals. So don’t let chimney people tell you they are knowledgeable on pellet stoves and stick with people that you can trust which is Phelps and sons. I would only recommend that you only have pellet stoves service by Phelps and Sons and also for the cleanings as well and I buy my pellets only from them.😊

  My pellet stove was not lighting. Everything seemed to be working. I replaced the gasket around the door, cleaned it thoroughly. I went back to phelps numerous times. They troubleshooted everything it could be. It finally is working perfectly. They were amazing and knowledgeable. I could not have fixed the stove without them. They saved me a lot of money. Phelps and Sons, you are the best! Thank you!

  We have been customers of Phelps and Sons for over forty years. It is a family run business with some wonderful staff as well. Brian, the owner, is absolutely wonderful. They respond to requests for service as fast as they can. I had an issue today and called in the morning. By afternoon I received a call that Brian could be at my house by 4 pm to look at the problem. He arrived. Fixed the issue in less than five minutes and was on his way.   Amazing customer service. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I just bought a house that came with a Harmon pellet stove. It turns out Phelps did not install it but they treated me like they had. I will buy my pellets and have my stove serviced by them after my initial experience. Great company. EDIT: 4 years later and I still trust Brian, Jake and Lisa with the maintenance of my stove. They are always 100% customer service focused and a pleasure to deal with. Year after year I have trouble free operation of my stove and a solid price on pellets. Very thankful for their services and I will continue using them.
