Backed into my garage door on Sunday. Called Monday morning and Chris was here in the afternoon. He straightened the tracks that were bent. Got the pegs back in. And oiled it so it is quiet once again. Awesome service.

My husband is a Licensed Alabama home builder. He used overhead doors on one of his builds and they installed the most beautiful glass roll up doors for him. So when we built out a shop into a home for us, we wanted to use them to replace our shop doors with the same beautiful glass roll up doors. We waited and waited for these custom doors to come in. Doors came in but the hardware didn’t come with them. We waited some more and finally we were going to get our doors installed. We were so excited that they were going to be installed before our daughter’s birthday party. Well the installers put the doors in and they look like something from Temu or Amazon. Not at all like the doors we’ve seen before. Panels weren’t even insulated for home use. So they took the doors down and said we’d get our deposit back. Well the owner told us no. That’s what a deposit is for and we will not get our money back until they sell these odd sized custom doors. This was February and we haven’t heard anything from them and we’re stuck in this hot summer weather without insulated doors on our home.

Company charged me $220 ($135 service call + $85 for extension spring) to replace one spring. That spring broke in 12 days, damaged my garage wall and cut the sensor electrical wire. I was traveling out of state and my father-in-law had to deal with the issue. He personally replaced the failed spring and spliced sensor wire. I requested a refund for the sub-standard work and failed spring. Owner, Kayla, refused to issue a refund and only offered a warranty replacement, after it has already been repaired? Very disappointing. I would never do business with this company again.

Not Happy! Had opener repaired and serviced on 3/2/22. Replaced gear and service call -$155. Worked for a few weeks and then froze. Called back, and on 4/13/22 got another technician who came out and again, replaced the gear (same problem as before) and serviced unit. Bill was $175. I argued that there should be no charge for the call back, but was told there was no warranty since it was over 30 days! They did agree to not charge for the gear replacement, but I was charged with a $125 service charge. Hopefully, this repair will last, but I will use another company next time. Also, the spring was lubricated with a spray lubricant that went all over the garage wall!

God Bless Kevin! He sets the standard for excellent service. He arrived quickly, repaired my issue and explained everything to me in detail. He checked every aspect of my door after he repaired it. He is a great service tech. This is the second time I have needed Overhead Door to repair my older garage door opener. I appreciate their ability to repair my door rather than just sell me a new one. And, I was so relieved that they were able to provide same day service both times. This is the company I will call first. Thank you everyone!
