I bought a fireplace from this company around 9 years ago. Everything went great with the installation. I recently had to contact them because I changed my batteries for the remote for the fireplace and all of a sudden it wouldn’t work/turn on. I called them to try and resolve this and Eddy tried to talk me through how to reset the fireplace so it would turn on. His instructions didn’t work because he said the receiving unit was installed upside down by them. So, he had to come to the house to fix it and it took him less than one minute to fix. Donna the manager insisted on charging me $190 for a 10 second fix that was their fault for not installing properly. Eddy tried his best to get the price down but Donna was extremely rude on the phone calling me “lucky” that it was only $190 because service are usually double! Never do business with this company!!!

I'm very happy with our Napoleon Gas Fireplace from Ocean Stone & Fireplace. Eddie and Victoria do great work. We had an issue shortly after install with the flame, and Eddie was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He fixed the problem right away and we enjoyed the unit nearly every night of the remainder of the winter.

If I was able to give this place Zero stars I would. WE ordered a fireplace insert and it wasn't working as soon as they installed. It took them 2 months to get back to us to fix it 2 months for parts! I was without my fireplace all winter. This fall I tried to get it started again and it wasn't working. It took 4 weeks to get a tech out and then he said he had to order a part. 8 more weeks without a fireplace. If you're looking for a company to stand by their product DONT SHOP HERE!!!!!! I've had this fireplace about a year and 7 month(COLD MONTHS) NO REPAIR!!!! ZERO STARS.
