  These guys are the absolute best and exactly who you want to hire! Our project started with a chimney cleaning in our new (to us) 50+ year old home. That lead to a discovery the chimney needed to be replaced and it was very strongly recommended that we replace the wood stove and fireplace as well as lining the chimneys at the same time. Fast forward to these guys impressing us a whole lot more than the other referral did and winning the project. How did they impress us? A few very notable things: 1. Brian spotted an issue with our gas burning fireplace and corrected it on the spot when he stopped by to quote the work, even though it wasn't in his scope. He also ran the crew that did the heavy lifting for installation and all went incredibly smoothly. 2. Holly is just fantastic to work with. She's far more responsive than most up here and she puts in the work to help solve complicated problems, namely our requirement for a non-combustible floor insert. 3. Install team was professional, courteous, neat and on-time. Pricing was inline with other options but the personal touches are what won them our business.

  We initially contacted them requesting a replacement part for our fireplace. They said they would check and get back to us. After not hearing back, we called 2 more times. After the second call, we were told they could not order the part but would make one for us. It has been weeks and we still have not heard from them. We called several times and left messages requesting a call back or, when we did get through, we were told someone would have to call us back. It has been a month and not once have we received a call or a call back from them.

  We recently purchased a wood stove from Northwoods Stove and Fireplace. The process from start to finish was exceptional; a total A+. We love our new wood stove. There was no pushy or pressured salesmen ship. Brian knows exactly what’s best for his customers. The estimate was very fast and it was exactly on, which meant no surprises in the end. The workmen who installed it were very professional and did a wonderful job. Brian and Holly are not only super friendly, but also good people.   Northwoods installed a new wood burning fireplace in our house this winter. From start to finish our process with them was A+. Holly spent the time to work with us to get us the exact fireplace that met our needs. Once we figured out what we were going with we were on the schedule for installation. They were exact on the installation timeline and got everything handled for us. I would highly recommend using Northwoods!
