  Purchased custom towers from him six months ago. Was promised them in 4-6 weeks. Only one arrived in week 8. This item was "glued" together, not welded and fell apart. We cannot use it. The custom work indicated he was going to perform was not completed. He did say he was going to correct the problem but that still has not happened. The owner (Ed) over 45 emails back and forth said he was going to rebuild, refix and send us new items, never happened. We have emails to prove the communication and his lack of follow through. One moment he says he is going to send us corrected product along with tracking and the next week, he changes his mind to say why he is now holding off!! Multiple excuses from the lack of employees he said he was able to obtain, shipping problems, fabrication ,etc. We paid thousands of dollars to have infrastructure put in place for this feature and cannot use any of it. If you decide to do business with ED, do not give him full payment, only a deposit and only if you are local to him so you can drive to his shop and hold him accountable. Wait until you pick up your product, make sure it doesn't fall apart and that it works properly before paying in full. We would love to complete our project but Ed has not sent us any of items that are needed to correct the inferior designed item "we did receive" and did pay for. He has been paid in full for what we did receive however we cannot use it due to the inferior design. Very disappointed.

  If you want something custom built for your home or business, Ed at Moderustic is a brilliant creator and inventor. He will make your imagination a reality. His website is filled with numerous custom work projects, small, big, and enormous. I strongly suggest taking some time to look at what he has on his website, then call him to discuss your specific wants or needs.

  Wish 0 stars was an option. They deserve all of 0 stars. Called before purchasing fireballs & was assured that there was not any safety issues with using their fireballs in an outdoor fire pit. Kind of even made me feel stupid for asking the question. Made the purchase and used several times before one cracked & had hot pieces of glazed ceramic material flying on our new deck. Luckily my wife & daughter weren't struck by the debris. My new (over 3k sofa) wasn't so lucky. I sent pictures of the damage & spoke with an employee of the company who asked me to send receipts from the purchase & also the damaged couch-which I did the same day. The owner Ed responded to one email asking why I was sending it to him. I explained & asked for him to call me. He never responded to that email or a follow up email or multiple calls. Based on my experience the owner is a jerk that doesn't care about the safety of his products or providing any level of customer service. Good luck to anybody that buys from them despite this & all of the other bad Yelp reviews. Wish I looked on Yelp prior to purchase

  Ed was amazing. I have an old spark ignition fireplace, and it is hard to find someone to fix it. Ed knew exactly how to fix it and was very cost effective.

  Horrible quality products. I was charged a lot of money for a custom water fire feature and what I received was a poorly fabricated non working item that was literally made with glue and spray paint. On top of that it did not even work. Ed the Owner promises you will be completely satisfied and charges you everything up front. We asked for a refund within days of receiving this unit and was refused. It did not work and was poorly made and not what we had ordered. BUYER BEWARE. They do not stand behind their work and quality workmanship is not within their capabilities. I literally was told by the Owner Ed to use a Beer Can to cover the pilot light that was installed with caulk above the entire unit. Ridiculous on every level. Total Rip Off!
