  Hello ! We recently had new gutters, downspouts and Gutter Helmets installed by MIG. It was a pleasure working with Derek from the sales team…he did a great job reviewing the options for our situation, was not pushy, always professional and was willing to answer any questions or concerns along the way…great guy! We had Gutter Helmets installed on the back of our house almost 20 years ago and were in the process of also getting a new roof and needed them removed for the roofers to do their installation. John and Nate came to remove the helmets, did a great job, were quick and efficient, great guys! I was always curious how effective the helmets performed over time and was pleasantly surprised to see the inside of the gutters we had removed were pretty much empty except for the usual gritty run off from the shingles over time. This post is also a testament to the effectiveness of the Gutter Helmets as well…we had Leaf Filter installed on the front of our house and although they make a quality product, based on the track record we experienced with the Gutter Helmets for almost 20 years of use, I had MIG remove them and install Gutter Helmets on the front of the house as well! We were fortunate to have John and Nate come back to re-install the Gutter Helmets, install the new ones and also install new gutters and downspouts as well…they work very well together, were clean, efficient and willing to answer any questions I had along the way…they do a great job at their trade! I would not hesitate to call on MIG for any future home improvement needs and would highly recommend them to family and friends…great company to work with !! Joe McK. Webster, NY

  I should start with fact that I'm a building inspector. I see every level of workmanship... or lack thereof. We bought a derelict house to fix up and help restore a neighborhood. We knew it would be an uphill battle. When we removed the drywall to insulate, it was apparent that every stud cavity dimension was different. Spray foam insulation wasn't in the budget, but it was the only viable solution. We obtained six quotes for the roof, walls, and band joists. Derek Minscher(?) from MIG gave us a quote, plus great advice and helped obtain a grant to offset the emergency in our budget. The crew they sent to apply the spray foam was amazing. George (pretty sure it was really Jorge) and James got straight to work, protected every surface and made certain conditions were optimal for the application. James sprayed and George made sure that there was no spray anywhere but where it belonged. These guys worked hard and efficiently- every move was measured. They worked steadily, politely and without comment or complaint. They were a finely tuned machine. I'm used to being underwhelmed lately, so getting this effort was a really big deal. After witnessing their professionalism, I had the same crew insulate an addition on my own home. I recommend, without reservation, MIG for closed cell insulation.

  10 yrs ago MIG installed the gutters on our house as it was being built. Today they installed a gutter on the front and back of our shed because water was shifting it again. The process was quick & easy. Spoke with the rep last week. He came out that day and sent the estimate the next morning. MIG called to schedule on Tues. and here it is Friday and the job is done. The installer called 30 mins before arrival. Was on time and got right to work. When the job was completed he handed me the bill and wished me a great day. I am thrilled with how professional and courteous my job was handled especially since it was a very small job.

  MIG completed an insulation job at our home and caused more than $1200 worth of damage to our hardwood floors. We documented the damage and contacted them within hours of them leaving the job site. Although they stated they would follow up with us right away, it took them several weeks to return to look at the damage. They then denied that they had caused the damage, and blamed another contractor who had recently been in our home for a related job. Ultimately - even after we provided them with multiple estimates showing what repairing the damage was going to cost - they offered us only a $350 discount. Steer clear of them. We had actually planned to hire them in the spring for new gutters, but that definitely won’t be happening now.

  I was referred to MIG Insulation by a friend. Mike the sales person came and quoted the job was very professional and knowledgeable. I was quoted a good price. I was presented with a detail summary of what work would be done. Today the crew showed up Andy, Sean, Pete, and Antoine were courteous professional. Andy kept me informed step-by-step of what he was doing with the Insulation and resolving some vent issues. Andy was very knowledgeable, Thorough and precise on what needed to be done. I highly recommend MIG and it’s crew if you’re looking for professional first rate job.
