  This was my second quote, and I’m so glad I chose Michigan Fireplace & Barbeque. From the moment I called, I was greeted with genuine enthusiasm and a willingness to help. I asked about a few options they had in stock, and right away they recommended a log set that sounded perfect for my needs. They even offered to send photos and a video from the showroom so I could see it before deciding, which I really appreciated. While the store doesn’t handle installation directly, they quickly coordinated installation through their partner, Ray’s Installation. Ken, my installer, contacted me within one day to schedule based on my availability. He was polite, knowledgeable, and efficient—and I was thrilled to have everything installed before Christmas. Overall, this was a smooth, professional experience from start to finish. Very happy customer and highly recommend.

  After shopping a few fireplace vendors we stopped in to Michigan Fireplace and BBQ showroom. We met John the owner and David the installer. Both of these guys were experienced and knowledgeable about their gas logs and installation process. John came to our home the same day to see the job site. We ended up purchasing logs and burners and the systems were installed in less than a week. We saved hundreds on purchase and the installation as compared to other vendors. Our fireplaces and service met more than our expectations. Highly recommend Michigan Fireplace and BBQ.

  We wanted to update our legacy gas fireplace to a newer, vented type with a more modern look ("fyre spheres", crushed glass and a newer type burner pan). Many places we tried either didn't have the products or had a difficult time understanding what we were asking for... In the end, they brushed us off. Then we discovered MI Fireplace and Barbecue. Owner/Manager John Yoo and staff were very responsive in helping us locate what we were after and put together a system that met our design goals. They took the time to carefully listen to us and present options that would work. Everything was ordered and delivered without any issues; Mr. Yoo recommended a very good installer who set the unit up. When a minor issue cropped up with the fire place doors, I got an immediate call back and resolution! They are competent, responsive, and respectful. Unlike their competitors, Michigan Fireplace and Barbecue made me feel like a valued customer. Would do business with them again. Recommended!

  My wife and I have been patrons of Michigan Fireplace and Barbecue for over 30 years. Recently we moved to a new home, and inherited a 25 year old gas fireplace in need of freshening. John and staff recommended beautiful new gas logs and a fireplace door that is custom fit. Within a few weeks, our old fireplace was transformed into an attractive modernized centerpiece for our Great Room! Their overall product knowledge and service is second to none! Next on our list is to purchase a new barbecue…….

  Talked with the owner, John, today. His family has owned the place for 45+ years. Awesome guy & very helpful, he hooked us up with a gas fireplace insert for a good price. Will update review after install, but this seems like a 5-star business to us.
