I purchased a new construction home with the understanding that the unfinished fireplace mantel and trim would be supplied and installed by Mason Steel & Supply within 30 days of closing, as stated in my contract with the builder, Chamberlain Land Development (Marc Strauss). Payment for these items was made in advance. After more than four months of delays, I requested a refund from Mason Steel, which was declined; instead, they refunded the builder, who continues to delay and has not fulfilled the contractual obligations.

Great service. Worked with CJ and the estimate was quick, the communication was great, steel was cut perfectly and delivered on time. I’ll be using mason steel for all of my new build projects moving forward.

They did a great job cleaning our fireplace. The fire was low and not how it's supposed to be like . Wasn't giving off that much heat because of the flame . I highly recommend

Terrible from the get go. We built a home 3 years ago and our builder recommended Mason Steel. We were given Tony Rosberil’s contact info. We have a total of 3 fireplaces we purchased. 2 gas and 1 wood. Growing up we had wood inserts and love the heat and ambiance only wood heat offers. After setting up and appointment, Tony had no clue we were coming and when asked about specifics based upon the size from our blueprints his exact words were “I don’t know I see a lot of blueprints.” We were pretty put off to be spending 12k with a place, getting childcare and taking time for a schedule appointment with a sales rep and company that was clueless. After this I was told we couldn’t do an insert and needed to do a fireplace because of our construction and the best efficient new wood fireplaces would do just as well as an older insert because of airtight glass and better construction, etc. Both statements untrue we have been nothing but disappointed with our fireplace since we got it. Doors failed after one year which they warrantied but were told we need to leave open when burning, no screen or spark protector just leave open. This has made the fireplace less efficient and in my opinion, a fire hazard. We’ve subsequently decided to go through Lehman’s for an actual insert. Waste of time and money. Choose another company if you can.
