  We spent quite a bit of time researching online to purchase an electric fireplace with a realistic flame and ease of operation. The Magikflame arrived as advertised in 3 boxes on a pallet and the mantle was fairly easy to put together. Took a little while but the mantle is beautiful, well constructed, and a very nice piece of furniture. The fireplace itself has been a disappointment. It's a little difficult to operate as there is no one button operation. We need the touch screen and remote to operate. We put this fireplace in our bedroom and this unit does not offer a good side view. You can also always see the piece of angled glass and the picture of the flames looks like it is in the back of the fireplace. You do get a more realistic view from the 8 to 10 feet back but that is not the normal viewing for us. It looks like you are watching a fire on TV and not a real fireplace for us. If we could have viewed one in person, we would not have purchased. Magikflame does offer a return policy but you have to pay the expensive freight and a 20% restocking charge to return and be sure you return all the boxes, packing materials, manuals, etc in excellent condition for a full refund. We are hoping the fireplace will grow on us and we will like it more as time goes on. As Magikflame states, their fireplaces are not for everyone. Please read all the info and be aware of what you are purchasing.

  Ordered the MagikFlame Morpheus Compact on a Monday and received it on Wednesday! Assembly instructions were straight forward and went together quickly. The mantel is very solid. Very happy with the purchase it fits perfectly in our living room.

  I purchased my MagikFlame after researching for two years. When I made the decision to purchase, I was pleasantly surprised when it took only 3 days for it to be delivered to my home. Assembly took a few hours to complete, but the final result was well worth it! I'm blown away by the craftsmanship of the mantle, realistic appearance, and the heater itself, which warms my room exactly how I like it. My only regret is not purchasing this fireplace sooner.

  I love this. Ok. I have wanted a fireplace for about 20 years but never in the situation to have one. And now that I am, I just don’t like the look of most electric fireplaces. But trust me, I am not to be trusted with fire. And I don’t have a gas line. So I went looking. I don’t have built in mantle and I am not skilled enough to do it. Also I just didn’t want to pay for it. So I went looking and cost comparing. I stumbled on MagikFlames. I found what I wanted for half the price of what I was looking at elsewhere. Good delivery service too. I like the sound. I like the heat output (some people play video games, I play how low can you go with my electric bill). It’s really beautiful and also safe for my nosy dog. It was also easy to put together. I admit I was intimidated because it comes with a video, but to be honest, the directions were clear and the video helps with the little small things. So the video is not because the thing is complex to do; it’s just that the instructions make things extra clear. The only reason I give it a 4 instead a 5 is.because I wanted to change the aspect ratio and I couldn’t figure out the remote control. But on the plus side, now I can read upside down and backwards (something maybe only MagikFlame customers will understand). I’ve heard people say it takes a month to get used to it. I was enamored in a day. It’s up in time for Christmas and I’ve ordered my mantle decor already. Christmas doesn’t feel like Christmas without a mantle!

  Delivery was quick. Assembly was easy and straightforward. Although, the glass assembly was a bit tedious because it’s glass and it touches the metal inside. So, be careful not to break it that way. Also be careful not to get fingerprints all over it. We love the look. It looks fantastic from afar. The Biggest knock I have is that the hologram effect is not as effective when really close up, especially viewed from a side angle, which is where our couch is. The other Knock I have is the heater is not very strong so it’s a novelty effect rather than relying on it to heat up the room.
