  Ken came out to our house for a service call, inspected our fireplace, recommended items that it needed in order to stay safe when turning on the fire wood, taught us on the difference types of fireplaces, and answered all our questions! He is very knowledgeable, helpful and extremely nice! I definitely recommend this company to everyone who may need equipment for their fireplace or if you’re thinking of upgrading your fireplace, this is who you want to call! I recommend this company to everyone!

  These guys installed gas logs in my living room fireplace. They are BEAUTIFUL! (The logs, that is... :) There were some cheap logs in there when I bought the house. The new porcelain logs are amazing. They put out great heat and they almost look real! The installation process was quick and painless. The installer arrived a little earlier than the scheduled time (but not to early). He was kind enough to explain to me what he was doing each step of the way. I was surprised at how little mess he made and he did a great job cleaning it up. This company is very professional and courteous. Highly Recommended.

  I was looking for a gas fireplace to put into the home I'm having built. Mike and Ken helped me while I was looking. And I actually ended up finding an electric fireplace that we liked much better. It looks just beautiful, and great price. And I won't have to build a chimney to put it in. We ended up choosing the Modern Flames 60 inch landscape fireplace. I can't wait to install it! We are looking forward to enjoying our fireplace towards the end of the winter season after our home is built. I would encourage anyone to visit KD Scholten and see what they have. We thoroughly enjoyed browsing all the interesting items at their store. And I'm sure we will find more items we can incorporate in building our new home. You will too!

  Thank God this vendor does fireplace repair in Las Cruces! There is only one business (and I use that term losely) in Las Cruces that services Lennox fireplaces, and they shut down for weeks at a time letting their phone ring incessantly during business hours. K.D. Scholten serviced my gas fireplace (including replacing a switch) within a couple of days after I called them, and my fireplace looks and works like new😁!

  You have got to see the incredible selection of barbeques KD Scholten has! I found the perfect one for our backyard. I can't wait to get it installed, and be ready for this spring and summer.
