  Parts of me feel uncomfortable to write this but I also feel that it’s important to share my experience. Overall, I would definitely not recommend purchasing from Jim’s Country Fireplace. We ordered in August and the unit was installed in November. Parts were missing and rain came through the ceiling around where the chimney was installed, but the team doubled down on the story that it was a coincidence & unrelated. They were condescending, saying I just didn’t understand. We had roofers come out and confirm that the work was faulty and not up to code, and leaks were certainly due to poor work on the installation. This resulted in having to pay $1,500 in additional repairs from roofers, which did indeed solve the issue that the installation had caused. Missing parts are still not in and it’s been almost a year since purchase. I recognize that things take time, especially ordering specialized units/parts, but the lack of communication and inconsistent responses has been incredibly frustrating. The installers also left a large hole in the ceiling for us to patch, and pencil marks that we had to clean up / paint over. Throughout the process it’s been hard to feel like the team cared about us or our home much at all, sometimes waiting days to weeks to respond and seeming annoyed that we wanted updates on this incredibly expensive purchase. So we ended up needing to spend another $1,500 to have professional roofers fix the faulty work, patch and paint the ceiling ourselves, and continue to deal with missing parts, all with very little support from Jim’s Country Fireplace. I really loved the family vibe and space, but unfortunately had a very poor experience and would recommend looking elsewhere for your fireplace / wood stove needs.

  Paradise Pond Shop has what I need when I need it or they get it in a couple of days. They can always answer my questions. There fish and plants are very healthy, and the survival rate has always been 100%. I recommend them very highly. They help me keep my pond in good shape and enjoyable.

  Great selection of fish. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Bought a flowering water plant and it has made it through two winters!
