  We had JCS Fireplace & Stone, Inc. put I. A new vented fireplace into the space where we previously had a ventless fireplace. I didn’t know it was possible to do this. We are extremely pleased with the end result. The installers and stonework professional were great. They went were efficient and proficient in completing our project. You can tell they take pride in their work. They cleaned everything up after they were done and left it better than it was when they got there. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking at a similar project.

  I have nothing but praise for everyone at J C S Fireplace. Dealing with Matt, Nate, and Diane has been top-notch. They have been attentive to my requests and prompt with information. Being more of a DYI guy, my purchase was cash and carry, so unfortunately, my review doesn't include installation services.  However, what I've seen of their work, it looks fantastic! I am delighted with my purchase and look forward to many years of enjoyment. I am confident that they will help me resolve any issues that may come up. Thank you!

  My elderly parents have a Napoleon gas insert with a marble surround. After many years it seemed to be having some trouble functioning properly so I called around to find help for them. JCS was my first call but they were really backed up with work and I wanted to try to get it working for my parents during the winter season so I called a competitor. Fellow came in and told me the seal was broken on it and it was leaking CO2 and he had to shut the fireplace down. He said it would not be able to be repaired (part not available because of age of the unit) and whole unit would need to be replaced. Because of the way it was installed, that would have required removal of all the marble surround. (We're talking thousands and thousands of dollars). I decided to call JCS again and ask them if they thought the seal could be repaired. I talked with Nate and he said he would order the part and make a service call when it came in to see if it could be done to fix the problem. It did take a while to get the part and to get a date for the service but well worth the wait! Nate said there wasn't even a problem with the part. The unit just had never been serviced and needed cleanup and some things moved back into place that had changed because of ongoing heat. He cleaned the glass and removed all the dust from inside. Even painted the back of the unit so it looks fresh again. The whole service call was quick, efficient and inexpensive! I don't remember the exact price but well under 200 bucks. Remember, the other fellow told me it couldn't even be repaired and Nate got everything in safe working order without replacing anything. Highly recommend JCS and Nate. Even if they're busy, they are totally worth the wait! Also, the staff in the office was always very kind and responsive. Really appreciate the customer service all around.
