I called them to install gas logs that I already had. I was a little taken aback when they asked me to pay in advance over the phone for the service, but I hadn't found anyone else willing to install owner provided gas logs so I went ahead and paid. They showed up on the scheduled day, provided excellent service, and I am very happy with my gas logs. The process was seamless.

Highly recommend Home Specialties for above ground pool installation. Frank was more than willing to take on our challenging pool site and had our 27’ above ground pool up and running in less than 3 days. Frank and his crew were professional, knowledgeable, and always cleaned the site after they left every day. I plan on using them in the future for any of my pool or outdoor living space needs.

They installed a chimney for my wood stove. I also purchased a flame retardant base area from them. The prices were great! The owner actually dropped off the base himself and helped me put it in the house giving me helpful hints. The installer of the chimney/pipe was also a 2nd generation stone mason who really knew his stuff and was very fast and friendly. I wish I had a place like this when i was living in Michigan!

We recently purchased a house with an old, gunked up gas fireplace that hadn't been used in years and was missing its logs. I didn't even know what all it needed to get it up and running again, but Home Specialties did. Sherri in the office was really nice and helpful, and Frank did an awesome job of making our fireplace as good as new. I highly recommend them for gas fireplace service and repair.

Guy came out and did not even attempt to look at my fire place. He said I needed sand and embers in which they sold. Which my fire place does not require to have, if he was a professional he would know this. If you want to pay 75 dollars for 5 minutes of time then use them. Otherwise call an actual professional.
