  We had a great experience with Home Living Fireplace. We had an unusual fireplace we inherited with the house and have wanted to change it for years but didn't know where to start. We now have a beautiful family room gas fire place that makes the room! Peter was so helpful in providing ideas and seeing the project through from the installation of the gas line to the fireplace to coming back to assure the finished product was done right. We took the original wall out and replace the whole wall and fireplace. The stone work was done beautifully! Before and after photos.

  Home Living replaced my patio, which used to be pavers and sand, with natural stone on a concrete base. The results were amazing. Before and after pictures are posted. Plus the crew was very nice, professional, and easy to work with, and when they were done, they cleaned up everything. I would definitely recommend them for their masonry work.

  Ridiculous $550.00 to do safety inspections on two gas fire places, which consisted of flipping the on/off switch. I had to request ember and glass clean up. I would not recommend.

  My husband and I dropped by HLF this evening and had an amazing experience here. A sales rep, Sean H, spent over an hour with us explaining the ins and outs of all things with gas fireplaces. I learned SO much! We have been to multiple other gas fireplace showrooms and this was by far the best place we’ve been. Sean was very friendly and professional. Also, he was very honest with the pros and cons of each type of unit (which I appreciated since I don’t feel like I had the same upfront honesty from other places). He clearly knows a ton about fireplaces and is willing to share as much info as you’re interested in knowing. The showroom was lovely and had a wide variety of fireplace units - traditional, modern, see-through etc. There are a ton of options to see here, which really helps if you are not sure what you’re looking for. I would highly recommend this place. Extensive showroom and very helpful and knowledgeable sales reps.

  Homeliving & Peter have your back! We had a seemingly very complicated fireplace situation - a direct vent defunct 20-year old gas fireplace surrounded in beautiful stone. From the moment we walked into the Chantilly Homeliving showroom and talked with Peter, we were excited about the possibilities. Peter & his staff made them a reality. We appreciate Peter's knowledge, insights and straight forward approach. Peter is proactive, dedicated, available and stands by you throughout the whole process. The team was very professional, courteous and efficient. The stonework came out wonderful and you really can't tell that the stone was removed and replaced. We are absolutely pleased with the entire service and are enjoying our new fireplace...great job!
