  It started with a phone call from Chicago to HL Posey. We were moving down and wanted to get started with the outdoor kitchen/bar. Spoke with Elena who was very professional and knowledgeable to start with a design. Really listened to what we wanted and redesigned several time until it was exactly what we wanted. Wanted a sink that was also a cooler, sent her picture, she found it and redesign the bar area to accommodate for it. Both Elena and Laurie were great at returning phone calls/email, which seems to be a problem with some company’s out here in Florida. The installers Caleb, Noah, Vin, and Tyler were great even with our million questioned and request. They were respectful of our home. They made sure to clean up after themselves every day when it was quitting time. I would highly recommend this family owned company for your Outdoor Kitchen dreams!

  I would not use anyone else! From the very beginning I fell in love with HL Posey! Pretty much from the moment I met Hennessy, the beautiful chocolate lab who works in the office😂😂. Seriously, HL Posey is professional, detail oriented company that goes to great lengths to ensure the customer will be happy, no matter what the budget is. Elena, the head designer spent an endless amount of time helping me figure out what I wanted & what would work in my space. It is still a work in progress! So far we have had a backsplash installed on our existing outdoor kitchen & we will be adding stone to the front as well. Today I had tongue & groove installed in my recessed ceiling in my lanai & I couldn’t be happier! Matt, Jeremy, Caleb & Vinny were professional, neat & friendly! I couldn’t have asked for a nicer crew! We’re adding an L shaped counter to our outdoor kitchen too! Honestly if you want your outdoor space done right you should look no further than HL Posey for your needs. I will post more pictures as the progress continues!

  They did a wonderful job updating our lanai. Very professional, listened to what we wanted, promptly arrived on time, cleaned up after, and met deadlines. Communication was great throughout!   We lost our pool cage during Hurricane Ian. We decided to expand it to include a kitchen. The HL Posey team did a fantastic job in helping us design the new cage and pavilion layout. Tyler and Matt were the installers. They did a phenomenal job. The build was more complicated and took longer than expected. When they had a question, they sought an answer. They made sure everything was done as if it was their own. We are very grateful for their professionalism and attention to detail. We are looking forward to the beginning the kitchen build!   Our family started our move to SW Florida in 2020 and during that time we had a vision of constructing a larger outdoor entertaining space than our previous home. The challenge was finding a company that we could partner with, that not only could do what we envisioned, but also provide the flexibility to work with us in potential design changes and an ability to offer their expertise in filling in design gaps for our vision during the process. After our numerous concept discussions with Laurie and Henry, we knew HL Posey would be the right partner for us. Our overall concept was to construct an outdoor pavilion with a large kitchen/bar and serving area under the lanai, but also wanted a seamless look throughout the space. Ground breaking kicked off in March of 2021 after finalizing the designs, permits and approvals with the pool company and HL Posey. Coordination was key for the project with overlapping pool installation and pavilion construction. During this time, supply issues arose around the economic conditions, though the Posey Team put together alternative plans which we believe turned out better in the long run. Additionally, Laurie and Henry were fantastic with suggestions to help close the design gaps for the seamless transition from the lanai area, to the pavilion, as well as the rest of the outdoor space. Some critical suggestions were involving how to make the different areas flow together using matching stone facing, tile, tongue and groove ceiling planks in the lanai and pavilion to give the entire area a completed seamless look. During the entire project, the whole installation team was very professional. They took the time to make minor adjustments in order to coordinate with the installation of the bar counters and bar counter lighting. In addition, Josh did some amazing finishing work around our hurricane screens so that even the smallest details gave the project a picture perfect look. As for a final touch, can’t say enough about the octopus towel rack that Phil made. Our outdoor space is absolutely beautiful. We highly recommend HL Posey to friends regularly.
