  Technician came to look at gas fireplace, was unable to fix it, gave me very little explanation other than explaining gas valve was bad and that the model was discontinued. Gave me no solution to my problem or any advice as towards the next step to fix my fireplace (something I thought I was hiring him to do). The tech made sure to collect his payment of $137 for 45 min of time and left. Confused, I called the office to ask if this was standard protocol. I was informed that there should have been options given to me as to what steps could be taken from here and to be offered free consultation with a project manager. All things that were not done. I usually choose to fix most things myself but I have two small children and very little time on my hands so I chose to hire this job out. This experience with this company proved not only to be a waste of time but a waste of money. I am very dissatisfied.

  Haley’s initially responded to a mutual customer after a furnace fire in December 2024. They were prompt, efficient and compassionate with the situation. Their service was again 10/10 during the full replacement. The price was fair and they worked with us throughout the insurance claim process. Recently there were concerns of a gas leak and again they were above excellence. Being in the service industry myself, I appreciate their customer service and communication. Everyone from the front desk, PM and techs onsite were noticed and appreciated. Highly recommend Haley’s!

  Deceptive pricing with zero transparency. 30 year old water heater went out on a Saturday. Called Haley as we had great service about 7 years ago with out furnace/AC. Emergency repair could not guarantee a fix and with age of water heater decided to have a PM Stop out. They Quoted 2800 and an install first thing Monday. Seemed High, but PM stated its was competitive in our market, so I trusted that. Bad idea. They were here first thing Monday, spent 2 hours installing. Techs themselves were great. I asked for a Itemized receipt. They could not provide it. The PM I talked to over the weekend could not or would not provide it. Went into the office on Monday and they would not or could not provide it. I found you could buy the same water heater from the manufactures web site for 900 bucks. Permit is around 100 bucks so that leave 1800 bucks for markup and 2 hours parts and labor. They replaced 1 valve and about 12 inches of copper. I want to know why I was charged at extra 1800 bucks for this. I have since received quotes from others from 1300 to 1700. Haley's still has yet to return my call to explain what the 1700 to 1800 bucks is for. Do not use Haley's unless they can break down the price for you. If they can't they are likely way over charging you.
