Rob came out to the house today and didn’t let the triple digit temps bother him at all. Kind, knowledgable and a total expert when trouble shooting my grill and firepit. THANK YOU Hal and Rob.

Rip off cost wise but it gets worse. Ridiculous charge to come out. The grill worked fine except for the rotisserie motor connection was shorting out. I was waiting for an email about potential replacement units when they came out and replaced a bunch of parts THEY say needed replacing to the tune of almost $800. They did not get the rotisserie motor connection working. So in short they came out when I did not ask them to and did not get working what I called them for in the first place yet replaced parts that worked fine. Then when I complained they said that to fix the rotisserie issue would require a wiring harness that would cost almost what a new grill would cost and would not be available until the end of the summer. was here when they removed the old grill to install the new one. All of the wires were easily accessible. One connection pulled apart which most likely was where the short was occurring. I could have fixed it myself. It did not need a wiring harness at all. Lastly then installed the new unit which does not fit into the space of the old one. There is over an inch gap in the stone countertop behind the grill. Now I have to get a new piece of stone. When I emailed them that this was not acceptable I got no response.

Hal listened to my needs and provided the absolute best solution. Most places I’ve dealt with “sell” only…it’s truly refreshing to meet a professional that not only knows his product line but goes the extra distance to make sure you’re proud of your investment!

Wish I read reviews before I went with this questionable company. My bad. After six week wait for repair, tech showed up at house and instantly announced that he did not have the ignition unit required to repair. He took a picture of the model number and gave me a bill for $223.50. Added that he would ask boss if some of that fee could be applied to the install fee. Surprise, it wasn't. After a $175 charge for a part listed on Amazon fo $108 the tech returned to install hew new ignition. After personally witnessing tech removing fire brick, log set, burner assembly and attached ignition I had to leave for work. When I returned, the fireplace was reassembled and in good working condition, however, one of the brick panels was cracked in half. The following business day my wife called halco and spoke with management. She was told that there was no way that they were responsible and would not even entertain the idea that his tech had caused the damage. They then proceeded to charge me another $250.
