I called for an appointment but he never showed up. He said he never got the memo. Called again and he apologized and said he would be in my area and would stop by. Again….he never showed up. So I went by the showroom. The man I met spoke to me in a very condescending matter and was apparently not interested in “only” a simple fireplace insert. I got the impression he would have been more helpful if I was interested in one of their high end models. I am writing this because I always receive this magazine advertising local businesses and this company is always listed. I had a terrible experience and would not recommend them.

Just got a fireplace insert from Green Fireplace Solutions in Novato, CA, their quote was very fair and the best of the three quotes we got from various companies in Marin. They do their own gas lines and needed electrical (if you are going with a fan) which made their quote lower than everyone else. They walked us thru all the available options and provided great consult and suggestions for our specific needs. They worked with us on our schedule and were very accommodating. The installers were clean efficient, careful and courteous. The quality of the install was excellent and they were done in a day. I would highly recommend them to anyone thinking about installing a fireplace insert. We wanted a clean simple look and thru working with them got exactly what we wanted (see attached before and after photos)

Our heater died, and couldn't be replaced for a month. We had a quote for a fireplace insert from a year ago with Green Fireplace Solutions. They worked with us on the old quote to find a nice solution. Since we were freezing in our house, they did everything they could to fit us into their already packed schedule. As promised, they came in a few days and installed our insert. The unit looks great and kicks out a lot of warmth. They did a great job, the team was super efficient and responsive. It's also nice to support a local business. Highly recommended!

Amazing work. Ralph was not in rush to sell us anything and consulted us throughout the project. He was willing to come back multiple times to make sure we were 100% happy with the result which is now the centerpiece of our den. Excellent for resale.
