Meant to do this when we had our wood stove installed two years ago, but got busy. Great American Fireplace installed our wood stove and chimney, and came back to extend the chimney. They did a really good job. Very professional, and extremely friendly. People in the office are great, too. I would highly recommend them!

What a great company to work with! We got a gas fireplace to install in our basement and are so glad we made the jaunt to Menomonie. After comparing with 2 different stores from the Twin Cities, we found they had better products at much better prices. They took the time to educate us on the different offerings and didn't pressure us at all in our decision-making. The customer service of this family-owned business is some of the best we've ever had. Can't recommend highly enough. Use them for your next project!

Excellent customer service - very friendly and helpful. My propane fireplace/stove went out this winter. They patiently answered my many questions in the store, helped me troubleshoot, and directed me to the right parts. If you need anything related to fireplaces or franklin stoves - this is the place.

This company has been outstanding to work with. My first stove I actually bought from Menards because I had rebates to use after a shop build, but Great American did the install and did a fast turn around powder coating the exterior chimney pipe when I requested it last minute. For my second stove, I made a mistake I still kick myself for. I bought it and the install from a different local stove retailer because I thought I was getting a deal. I could write several pages describing why that other company is awful, but the only reason for mentioning it really is because Great American quickly diagnosed and fixed what the other guys messed up. The owner has gone out of his way for me and saved me money more than once, even though I didn't buy either of my stoves from him. If I could go back, I'd absolutely buy more than one install and my chimney cleanings from them. Sometimes trying to save a few hundred bucks costs you a lot of time, headaches and ultimately money. Don't be like me, just go with Great American the first time.
