The pilot on our gas long fireplace started going out after we would turn on a fire. We called Gas Log Specialties and were able to schedule an appointment. They came out and you could tell the gentleman knew what he was doing. He took out the unit and took it to his truck, cleaned it, replaced a faulty part, reinstalled the unit. It has worked perfectly since the repair. The cost was very reasonable, especially compared to what replacing the entire unit would be.

He Fixed It! We had a defective gas fireplace installed incorrectly by a contracter. Three years ago! … Couldn’t get it to work. Called several people. Finally called found Gas Log Specialties and Tim Anderson came out. He re-wired the defective fireplace and fixed the starter. After 3 years of trying to get it to work, it’s finally working! This is the 2nd time I had my chimney swept by this company! I also needed the gas starter line replaced. Mervin was very professional and personable. When he finished he lit the fireplace to show us. This starter is by far superior to the last one we had. This company did not install the first one. I don't usually write reviews but I had to today. The experience was exceptional and I would recommend this company to everyone!! Thanks Mervin!!!

The technician showed up on time and was very professional. He made sure I understood how the level of maintenance and timing is based on use. I was also very happy that they were able to service the fire place the day before Thanksgiving.
