We have always had a great experience with Franklin Fireplace. We bought a wood insert and a gas fireplace for our first home many years ago, 21 to be exact. We had them install three gas fireplaces in our second home that we built in 2001. And most recently, we had them install a gas insert into the masonary fireplace of our current home. The sales staff is knowledgeable and helpful in determining the right unit for the application. The service technician is also very knowledgeable and punctual, which is important to us. They only require a two hour arrival window, unlike Verizon who will make you wait all day or Home Depot with their four hour delivery window and so many other businesses that waste a half or even an entire day of your time. We keep going back and we keep having a great experience.

Purchased a new wood insert. There was a small item the inspector failed, he told me in most towns that item was no big deal...but he is a stickler. I called FF who had already been paid the remaining $. The owners son in law came out the next day as the regular crew was backed up for weeks. He told me that he knew I would not want to wait that long. I am very happy with the service, and would recommend them

I bought my stove from this place so when my co dectector went off ( we called 911) I needed them to come out to fix the problem and paid $185 .Rick took the stove apart and said it was fine. His meter he said did not register any co. I then called the gas company. The gas company tech went over to the stove and in 2 minutes the reading was 105 parts per million. He also checked my furnace and water heater and pronounced them running optimally. My concern is that the meter Franklin stove is using is not calibrated and results could be fatal. I called this morning to talk with the manager and have not received a call back. My stove has been locked out by the gas company until the problem is fixed. My chimney will be checked by a company in Mansfield, may 19 th.
