  William and his crew did an excellent job. Can’t say enough about his crew. They were friendly and meticulous in their installation. And believe me the defiant stove I got was heavy and went up 12 stairs! I would recommend them without hesitation. By the way the wood stove works like a charm! Easy operate and Keeps our house nice and warm.I recommend this business highly!

  We could not be any happier with the new woodstove that Will recommended. We retired a 35 year old Buck woodstove insert so this new one is like a cadillac compared to what we had! His crew was polite and answered any questions I had while they were doing the installation! The crew noticed some masonry work that needed to be done outside on the chimney. Will had a quote to me within 24 hours and a crew out the next day in 35 degree weather from 8:00am to 3:00pm to rectify the issues that needed to be addressed! I look forward to working with him in the spring when he has the crew powerwash the chimney and add the sealant. Top notch...doesn't get any better than this!   First Response replaced our chimney top, cap, and veneer siding on our tall chimney, and removed our propane log kit so we could use wood (now with a propane starter). They sealed the new chimney veneer and cleaned and sealed the areas of stone veneer on the front of the house. So, for us, it was a big project. From the start, William (Owner) was knowledgeable and responsive. I was glad that he and Allison, who coordinated the work from the office, welcomed my emailed and texted questions, unlike many contractors. And Allison was always professional & friendly. In fact, the entire team did a great job. They also completed the work within the estimated time of 2 weeks, and they didn’t exceed the estimate. If you're on the fence because of your project's price, I say work with these guys, for the quality and peace of mind.

  We had the team tackle quite a bit of work at our house: tear down a dilapidated “faux” chimney and replace it with a new gas fireplace that extended into the room, repair the exterior wall, and install a new wood burning stove in the great room. There were some hiccups and delays, but the team was responsive to our concerns. The end product is beautiful and we are pleased. If the scheduling of work was more consistent and efficient, we would give them the fifth star.

  The team did a great job working with me to help create the vision I was looking for. Friendly, responsive, and receptive throughout. From choice of fireplace, offset, framing, gas line - all the way to the finishing touch - the stone work. Amazing. Highly recommend.
