  Great experience with Fireside. They were upfront and transparent about pricing from the first call. Got me scheduled relatively quickly. Dakota, my tech, was extremely knowledgeable and gave me great tips for taking care of my gas fireplace. Everything was cleaned up well. Highly recommend.

  I recently bought a wood stove and exhaust system from them and the entire experience was a headache. One of those businesses that is just overall disorganized and seemed like the only people who knew much about fireplaces were the technicians. There was some kind of confusion and headache at every step from getting a quote to picking up parts. The salesman was nice, but I could tell pretty quickly that he did not know very much about wood stove exhaust systems. The whole process was painful. I noticed he included parts that I didn't need initially (he didn't account for the height of the wood stove when calculating length of stove pipe), did not provide breakout pricing for each item, was very difficult to get ahold of on the phone to get a corrected parts list/quote. I was skeptical of the revised parts list, but figured if any of the parts didn't fit together, I would be able to return them. Of course, some of the parts didn't work for my house and some parts even didn't fit together, but then was told they don't accept returns on will call items... This was extremely frustrating since I trusted them to sell me a fully functioning wood stove and exhaust system that worked in my house (I even drew them a picture of the location in my house with dimensions of all applicable components). This was probably $500 worth of unused parts but don't really know because I never got breakout pricing... I initially got a quote from Lisac's that was quite a bit higher, but the salesperson there was clearly very knowledgeable and knew all about these exhaust systems and how they go together. I could tell there was a higher chance that Fireside would sell me parts that didn't work, but figured it was worth saving a decent chunk of money assuming I could return any parts that didn't work. I ended up going to Lisac's at the airport after Fireside didn't let me return the wrong parts, and Lisac's cut me a great deal on the parts I needed to complete this system. If you're getting a fireplace and exhaust system furnished and installed from them, Fireside is probably fine. If you want to buy a fireplace and install it yourself, I would definitely not go here.

  Our technician from Fireside Home Solutions, Adrian, did an excellent job for us. We had recently purchased a house that has a 20-year old gas fireplace, and it was clearly in need of service. Adrian cleaned and adjusted the unit, resolved a safety issue, and quickly added a remote at our request. He was on time, efficient, respectful of our property, and explained things clearly. We recommend him highly, and will call Fireside Home Solutions the next time we have our fireplace serviced.

  Fireside and Adrian are top notch! We have a gas fireplace that hasn’t worked in a year. One call to Fireside and the fireplace works like new! Adrian shared his ETA which was helpful and quickly fixed and restored our fireplace to perfect working order. The inspection, maintenance and repairs were all completed above expectation and we are excited for our home to be warm and cozy again! Thank you! Nathan
