RUN! Don't walk from getting a fireplace from Heath & Home. Broke down after 3la couple years in my brand new home. They show no mercy and want their full servicing fee to come check it out despite it being a new fireplace. No way it should be breaking down this soon and not to have a policy to have a cheaper servicing cost for installing a lemon.

I have received very good service today. Kevin is a technician that preformed maintenance on my fireplace. He was strictly by the book in making sure my unit works as the company would want it to be. And he cleaned up after finishing.

We used Fireside Hearth and Home in January when our wall remote wasn't working. We had bought our home this last summer and had also also wanted both fireplaces (both gas) checked for safety and cleaned up. The technician who came out to help was absolutely wonderful. He explained that the wall remote was never hooked up when the fireplace was installed so that job would require an electrician. He was very diligent and professional in his servicing of the fireplaces and getting them cleaned up. He helped fix the placement of the logs in the correct way that would allow for them to last longer and more efficiently use the gas. He gave me a lot of tips about our fireplaces and it was just nice to have great customer service as that seems very lacking all over these days. This will be my go to company for future fireplace needs! -Thank you!

We love the fireplace. Use it every night in the winter. We had a problem with a popping noise when the unit cooled down after turning it off and had to call for service. The service tech added a stabilizer bar to the unit and it solved the problem. Odd the manufacturer does not install that from the get go since the tech said it is a common issue. There was no charge for the service, just had to be home to let the tech in. Kevin the service tech was great. He was experienced, knowledgeable, and friendly and cleaned up well. Only other complaint was that the unit was installed when we were not home (contractors were here) and they mounted the controller case holder on the finished drywall. Thought it was odd they would do that without asking on location. Come to find out, when I got around to taking it down, there was a on/off switch box mounted in the wall behind the controller case but no actual switch, just the switch box. I don’t like the location of the switch box and now have to cut, patch and paint drywall to have it moved. The salesman should have explained the need for the switch and decided on a location as part of the contract paperwork. This would have avoided the issue.

Very happy with the technician that came to my house. Took off his shoes😂 Laid down a covering for his tools. I greatly appreciated his honesty! I have never had my fireplace cleaned and my fireplace was not lighting or it would light and then go out. It wind up being a bad wall switch. He replaced it, clean up the fireplace and WaLa!!! Again I appreciate the honesty because I’m sure somebody could’ve said it was something different that would’ve cost a lot of money. I was charge the cleaning fee and nothing more. I believe I purchased my fireplace from Fireside Hearth and Home almost 15 years ago and this was the first time I’ve had it serviced! Best quality! Best service! Would highly recommend!
