One of the worst home service business experiences I have ever had. We had a brand new gas fireplace installed along with the cap. When the tech came out to turn our new fireplace on after our house was completed, I told him that it seemed to still have a leak (they had already come out before and added some caulking outside). He said he didn't have a ladder but would return to look at it. They showed up one day without notifying us at all about when they would come by. They looked at it and said that we needed waterproofing added and we could apply it ourselves. Several days later, we got a call demanding we pay a $195 service fee for the visit. We reminded them that this was a new install and were informed we only had a 90-day warranty. This was the first we heard about the warranty only being 90 days, and we were never notified about being charged for a fee to check on an issue from the installation that was never resolved. This company is very poor at communication and does not appear to care about customer service, and I would recommend finding another company for your fireplace needs.

There is a pattern here....It took four weeks to get a technician out to review what we wanted to do. He then told me that I would get an estimate from the owner the week of December 30. I did not hear anything so I called on January 8. The person who took my call said she would check on things and get back to me by the end of the day. Still waiting.... Follow-up: Owner responded below my review that they would look into this situation. This was 4 weeks ago. Still waiting....

Bought my fire place from this company. Went to sell my house and had cracks all over bottom and side insert. Told me they would fix for $350. Paid that then they came out and couldn’t fix. Charge me $550 for parts and another $265 to install. Tried to get them to negotiate the second fee since they did nothing for the first trip. They would not hear of it. Would not recommend or use this company again.

We purchased a wood burning stove from the company several years ago which they installed about 40 miles from their office. We scheduled a chimney cleaning about five years ago and they came an performed well. We scheduled a cleaning in October this year but had to cancel but rescheduled for November 5, 2021. Called about 8:30 am that day for a arrival time, they claimed troubles and would get back to me. Called again about 3:30 pm, still checking. No show on Friday, Nov 5. Called about 8:30 am Monday, Nov 8. Claimed had a truck down, offered a re-schedule in December after their wanting me to give a little compassion for their down truck. FIREPLACE ETC. seems to have lost their ability to perform any Customer Service, never calling and when I called, they gave excuses, and put me in the back of the line for requested service.

When we built our home 7 years ago we had them put in our gas logs. This year our fireplace remote went out. They came all the way to Katy on an acceptable service charge to replace it. Could not be more pleased with quality and service. Highly recommend them!
