second time it has stopped working in the four months we have owned these fireplace logs. When installed we were not informed that their are THREE sets of batteries that need replacing. First service call the tech showed us the THIRD unit that had batteries (in all it takes 11 batteries to operate (3 AAA in the remote, 4 AA in the remote receiver, and 4 AA in the igniter unit)). After working for two weeks it is out again and we are told that a part needs to be replaced. Each time we have tried to schedule a service call it has taken 4-6 weeks to make it happen. All this over FIREPLACE LOGS, not exactly rocket surgery. Direct wiring is not a safe option IMO but having said that if it was the best approach why was it not suggested in the beginning. Again this issue has been going on well past four months.

Great place to grab bbq rubs and sauces. Pricing on green mountain and traeger pellets are similiar to everyone else and they carry hardwood charcoal.
