  Thrilled with our experience with Jock Rotella and entire team from Expert Chimney Services! We needed chimney repair work and wanted to convert our fireplace to a gas insert. Tommy and crew did a great job on the chimney work, didn’t rush the job when needing to navigate rainy days so everything was done properly. Phil did a great installation of the insert and surround fabrication. Jock was involved and made sure we were satisfied. One of the best home improvements we’ve made - would highly recommend.

  Expert Chimney installed a gas fireplace insert to replace my old wood-burning unit earlier this year. I waited to write a review until the weather cooled down—and now that we’re using it almost daily, I couldn’t be happier.   I would highly recommend Jock Rotella and his team at Expert Chimney services. From the initial appointment to the cleaning and inspection they were cordial, professional, timely and honest. When I called I talked directly with the owner. Our appointment was made about 2 weeks in advance and I was told the tech would arrive around 1:00 and call in advance. Ryan called around 12:30 and said he'd be there in 20 minutes and he was! We have a 0 clearance wood fireplace that had not been cleaned since we built our home in 2001. Ryan prepped the hearth area with a tarp, cleaned the flue, collected video of the inside, ran the drone to inspect the cap, vacuumed and didn't leave a spec of ash anywhere. When he was done he thoroughly explained the results and didn't try to sell me on any any needless repairs. A few days later I received a follow up call from the owner who explained the inspection results and asked if I had any questions. Reasonably priced and pleased!

  Knowledgeable and experienced Helped us to get just what we wanted in the way the fireplace looked. Work was done professionally and Phil and Nate went above the call of duty by going back up on the roof to take care of a blocked flue!!
