It was ok, but be sure to read your receipts and count your stove pipe. We didn't until we got home and found that we were charged for 7 pieces and we had 5. Since they don't barcode their inventory, not worth going back with our issue. Oh yes, also when we bought the stove, we were told that none of our credit cards would go through. It turns out the salesperson put the decimal in the wrong place and the charges were close to $1M....which certainly exceeded our credit line. Embarrassing until a co-worker pointed out the error. Math may not be their thing, alas.

While this store has beautiful stoves, their customer service is horrible. We purchased our Jotul which is a beautiful stove in November. They brought it in December, hooked it up, but the remote which you can control the temperature with is broke. Dead River was here and spoke with them and they said they would set up a time to come fix it. The day they set up was a few days before Christmas, so we called them the day before they were supposed to come to see what time they were coming because we had an apt. In Bangor and if it was going to be to late we would have to reschedule. They said they would have the technician call us in the morning to let us know where we were on his list. Of course we never received a call. We called them at 12:00 noon and they said they would call the tech and then call us back. Well they did call back and we were not going to see them until late that afternoon. We told them that is why we called the night before to have him call us in the morning. Of course they were sorry and would call to reschedule. They never called. I called them Monday morning (yesterday) and they said the scheduler of apts. would call me right back. Waited all day, never received a call, SO I am calling them again this morning to see what kind of a run around they will give me now! Moral to this comment.......once they get your money, they want nothing to do with you again! In a nut shell, if I could give less than one star, I would!

The salesperson was very knowledgeable and gave me the distinctive characteristics (pros and cons) of each fireplace I looked at. I highly recommend this place they have huge stock on hand.
