  Wasn't sure what to expect but had a great visit. Lots of grills and smokers and accessories but also some beautifully crafted mantle/electric fireplaces that got my attention. Wide selection of outdoor furnishings. This is a top tier store and their prices reflect that. But the value is obvious. Matt offered a coffee and a lot of advice and suggestions. Had a great experience. UPDATE 6/2024: We took delivery of our custom-built electric fireplace today. Delivered on schedule. Installers did a great job for us. We couldn't be happier with Erb's service.

  I need to update my review. It was very disappointing leaving a bad review after messaging and calling several times. However I was happy to receive a direct response from the owner and he handled this diligently. I guess my messages were missed or overlooked, things happen. I am glad to be getting my fireplace fixed just in time for the winter months ahead. I will be back and thank you again Mr. Erb for assisting my problem. Lopi was no assistance. Probably will select a different brand when this one fails. Bought my insert there last fall. Blower started squealing less than two months later. All and left messages several times. Called manufacture and NO RESPONSE. I passed several stores to get to yours. Will not be back! Horrible customer service. My Dad used you for years so I thought I would try

  Several years ago we found this place because it was part of the Dutch Host inn package and have been buying sawdust compressed bricks ever since. When the have there sale on the bricks we drive 3 hours to buy 3 pallets to save about $100 a pallet from the cost locally. They gave away steak seasoning and now we buy a couple every time since my son and all his friends think it makes the best popcorn seasoning. The first time we were there we were looking at new wood burners and were shown the wood bricks and given there stats, were purchased and couple packages and they gave us 2 on top of what we purchased. We were sold on the amount of heat produced and how long they lasted we returned. They are awesome to deal with and have allowed us to drop our trailer and go shop then return later to pick it up. If you can make it for their open house it is a great place to explore and try the goodies they are cooking up.

  After leaving a poor review, the owner contacted me the next day, was extremely apologetic, and took full ownership of the communication disconnect. We re-visited and discussed the details of our request for a fireplace screen, and within a couple of weeks, I received a dimensional drawing and quote. I can appreciate a business that owns their mistakes and does what it takes to make it right. That tells me a lot about a business's culture. Drove 1-1/2 hours to Erb's with the intent of purchasing a fireplace screen for our open fireplace. Very busy Saturday and we waited 45 minutes to speak to the owner about a having a custom screen built patterned after one of their displays. We did not mind waiting in the store since there is a lot to look at and very nice products and presentation. The owner took our names and made a rough sketch of our screen, and asked that we email some pics and dimensions soonest since he was meeting with his blacksmith that week. We immediately sent the pics and dimensions, and asked for a confirmation email. Heard nothing. After almost 2 weeks of waiting, and 3 phone messages later, the owner called back and ensured me that he would have a quote to me that week. That was in Jan. It is now the end of March, burning season is almost over, and I never heard back from the owner. As another review stated, I guess our $500-$600 purchase was not enough to warrant our business. I will not be going back to Erb's nor will I recommend them to anyone looking for fireplaces or fireplace accessories.

  If you need a gas fireplace this is the best store in Eastern Ohio. Buying a Mendota gas inserts, absolutely breathtaking
