  Andrew, David, and Parker from Energy Savers Inc came today to install a new wood stove including the piping to the ceiling and on the roof—the whole shebang!!! They were polite, respectful professionals. They were spot on with regard to how long the install would take to complete. They were neat and patient in showing the operational procedures of the stove as they lit the first fire in the stove for us. Great guys – great experience! We are very pleased with Energy Savers service.

  I just wanted to write a review to share my experience with Energy Savers, which culminated in the installation of our first (of possibly three) woods stoves. Prior to our visit to their incredible showroom I had talked to a local stone mason/wood stove professional after he did a sweep of my fireplace chimney. He gave us a jaw dropping quote and suggesting extending our fireplace masonry to where our new wood stove currently sits. The work would have taken him weeks and we were not convinced that he had the manpower or skills to get the job done. Feeling a little dejected by the experience we stopped in at Energy Savers and were immediately glad we did. We talked with Dylan Cooper and immediately got a sense of what type of wood stove we would need to heat our large open living/kitchen/dinning area with high ceilings. He made some suggestions but said he would need to stop by our place to know for sure. Dylan and Steve (who I later learned was the owner - should have known when I saw the maxed out truck they rolled up in) came by the house and looked over everything and listened to all of our ideas for where we would like to end up heating wise. They took pictures and measurements and answered all of our questions and even entertained our young children. They left that day and Dylan said that he would either have a quote for everything later that day or the next day. The next day we had a quote and placed a deposit to get the materials and set a date for installation. On the day of the install the crew (4 of them) showed up on time (8am) and said they would be done before noon. They worked quickly, professionally and very very CLEAN. They covered everything in the room they were working in and left it cleaner than when they arrived. They answered every question we had and one of them (Andrew) even gave us a suggestion for a guy selling logs for firewood. Once again, even our children were entertained a bit as they worked. When they were done we had our new wood stove (see the picture) and are ready to go for this winter. Once I paid for the install I requested that I get a full invoice so that I have everything I need for my taxes at the end of the year to get the 26% write off for the cost and installation of the stove since it is one of the ones that qualifies. Steve sent me the invoice immediately. Energy Savers were great and I will be doing (a lot) more business with them in the years to come.
